The prices he gave me were very fair. He is in the middle of a project right now. My project is small but he has been really good at staying in contact with me to let me know when he has an opening. He quoted me for $380. He is very friendly and professional. He is very approachable. There are also bigger projects that I will ask him to do.

The service went well. I would definitely hired them back. One technician came out and completed the job in a bout 6 hours. He completed the job as estimated. He was very professional and knew exactly what he was talking about. He even pointed out things other contractors missed. He went out of his way to make sure I did not spend money on things I did not need. He did a beautiful job and it was easy to schedule the service.

Greg was excellent in all aspects of our project. He returned my initial call immediately. His estimate was fair and accurate. The work was all done by Greg and his brother. They were a fantastic team. Every aspect of the work was done with expert craftsmanship and every detail was perfect. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home as they were polite and professional at all times. I look forward to hiring Greg Donovan in the future on further projects.

Donovan Carpentry was fantastic to work with. When calling to schedule an estimate, Greg responded very promptly. He was very professional and consultative in discussing options. When it came to the job, it was Greg and his brother Rafe. Although it was a small job, it was so refreshing to have the actual owner of the company onsite and doing the work. The job spanned two days because of rain. Greg patiently managed the weather issues, did as much as possible until it rained, and promptly returned and finished the next day. Their workmanship and professionalism were everything you expect in a contractor. We replaced our roof after the trim work was done. We ran into issues with the gutter boards. Since the roofer said he could take care of it, we let them so the job was not stalled. In hindsight, we should have gone with Donovan Carpentry. The next time we need any carpentry work done, we will definitely call Greg.

I can only say great things about Greg and his brother Rafael. We found Donovan Carpentry on Angie?s List and I can?t tell you how glad I am we found them. Greg promptly met with us to discuss the details of the job and in less than a week we had a detailed quote. After agreeing on the price, Greg wrote a contract agreement listing the specifications. Work began soon after and we were delighted since day one. Their professionalism and workmanship was stellar. They were friendly, courteous, and a delight to work with. They were always asking if we were pleased with the work done so far, so they could adjust to meet our preferences/expectations. In spite of a very harsh winter with bitter cold temperatures, Greg and his crew worked tirelessly to get the job done right. To sum up, don?t think twice about hiring Donovan Carpentry for your remodeling project. You won?t be disappointed. I will be calling them again when I decide to upgrade my bathroom.

Greg did a great job installing a railing on the wall that was just what we needed. Price was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier with the end result. I will definitely call him for future work.

Greg had previously installed crown molding in the dining and living room and did such an excellent job, I had him add molding to the tops of my kitchen cabinets. He is extremely kind, courteous, and thoughtful. Their work is impeccable, and I have a tendency to be overly critical. You will not be disappointed in his work!

I purhcased a storm door at Home Depot and the purchase price was to include installation. The door was quite expensive. Their installers made such a mess that I had to find a carpenter to repair the siding.

My experience with Greg Donovan was great. We wanted a 'secret' bookcase door to my son's bedroom. Greg took on the challenge and did an excellent job. He worked with an odd-shaped opening and crooked floor, but produced a beautiful bookcase that provides extra storage - and looks really cool! We can't wait to have Greg back to work on more projects.

I am not a relative of these men nor is this a paid advertisement!. I was lucky enough to find the Donovan brothers on Angie's list, the installation of my windows which have unfinished interior pine finish is being done without a hitch. The start time was right on and the communication concerning my expectations is perfect. Trimming out windows in a 70 year old home is not cookie cutter, it requires skill and patience. These fellows are like machines, when they start just stay out of their way and the day flies by. They clean up after themselves and always ask "what do you want" so you get what's expected. Greg and Raif Donovan are truly "old world " craftsman who will be continuing to improved my home, future I will have them build a custom piece of furniture for my kitchen and remodel my master bath. After many years of doing residential rehab/real estate I have finally struck gold.

The Donovan"s truly care about their work and are a real pleasure to deal with. Don't expect a "5 minute" job, these fellows think through everything they do and they aim to please. Hire this company! In every aspect, the experience was EXCELLENT. Mr. Donovan wrote up a thorough contract, consulted at length with me about materials and design ideas, gave great suggestions, and delivered excellent work. He and his brother did the complete job in seven days, far faster than expected, but with no sacrifice in quality. They devoted their time each day to the job, always working full days. And their attention to detail was greatly appreciated. I am thrilled with the final result, and thoroughly enjoyed working with them. Respectful, mature, and kind, they were a joy to have on the job. I've had some pretty terrible experiences with contractors in the past, but not this time. I will be hiring these guys again for a built-in cabinet project in my dining room.

Painless-- work was done when promised and quickly, removed the old posts and cleaned up after the work.

We hired Donovan Carpentry to manage the remodel of a 1920's home we purchased to accommodate our growing family. This involved gutting half the downstairs in the house, including the kitchen and two bathrooms, and adding a second story addition onto the home. Greg and his crew also performed carpentry work for us, including built-in cabinets for the family room, cubbies for storing kids' gear in, and a stunning butcher block countertop for our island. I cannot say enough good about the work that Greg and his crew did for us. Greg is reliable, trustworthy, fair, and has an incredible attention to detail. He showed up when he said he would, he kept track of all of his subcontractors, and he demanded--and provided--nothing less than high-quality work. In a project that was lengthy and pretty overwhelming for us, he was wonderful to work with. We would absolutely work with him again and recommend him with enthusiasm for both carpentry work and general contracting. He's the best!
