Could not have had a better experience with DogWatch! Starting with the estimate. Graham was knowledgeable and patient in explaining the product and options with me. He was very up front about the price and left me with product literature and a written estimate (believe it or not, I had another company come out to look at the yard and simply told me, "it will be about this much."). I was able to schedule the install relatively quickly and on a day that was convenient for me. I believe it was Mike who did the install. Again, he showed up promptly and was courteous. We had a few special requests regarding the install which he met for us without issue. When he was done, you could hardly tell he had been here (other than the white flags in the yard!). No concrete dust where he drilled through the foundation, no mess, nothing! He even pulled out a level to mount our transmitter to the wall... in our unfinished basement! That kind of pride in workmanship is refreshing! Then there is the training. That was second to none. On install day, Heidi spent plenty of time with us showing us how to work with our dog to get him used to the fence. She even brings another dog with her to help with the training! Then she comes back a week later for an evaluation and additional training if needed. In my opinion that's essential for the fence working for you. Our dog did great and the system works wonderfully. It has some very helpful features like the tattletale, etc. I can't recommend this company enough!! Go with DogWatch!

We hired Dog Watch to install an indoor electronic fence to prevent the cats from coming into the kitchen. We have lived with 7+ years of stress from these adorable kitties and have reclaimed our kitchen! This is the best money we have ever spent. The cats took less than an hour to figure out the fence and their new boundaries and the system works perfectly. Working with Heidi was a pleasure. I wish we had done this years ago!

It was very professionally done and Heidi followed up with impressive instruction for me and my dog. We are extremely happy with the results so far. My dog is happy and seems to have learned after only one week where he can run and where to stay clear of.

She came out and quoted the fence and we were a little unsure if it was worth having installed and she explained why it was.  But not obnociously.We then gave them a deposit and the installer came three days later installed the fence and gave some basic instructions then the trainer came and trained the dog and his parents what to do. Left us a calendar of jobs to follow and then came back on the last day of the calendar to see if he was ready to graduate.  He was but if he wasn't she would have come back again to train once more and start the process again.

Heidi came out for a consultation and pricing quote.? I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and professional.? She really took the time to explain all the details and provide the right system for my property (2acres-1fenced).? I didn't feel any pressure from her, just the facts about the system.? She was great with my dog (Luna, puppy 5mos) and I could tell right away she is an excellent trainer.? Jack showed up on the install date (on time) and first walked the perimeter and then began installation.? The installation on the exterior of the house/inside garage were done very neatly and professional looking.? I have many large older trees with exposed roots on my property.? Jack took his time and worked around those to ensure a clean install.? He was very professional and stayed busy the entire time. (nice job cutting/sealing the driveway portion).? Jack let me know Heidi would be delayed due to it taking him a bit longer for install and I appreciated the communication. Heidi called and left a message that she would be running behind anyway due to training with another client (again communication appreciated).? I absolutely love Heidi as a trainer.............the effort she puts in with your dog and with the?you (customer)?is wonderful.? She was very informative throughout the process and made sure I was comfortable with the training.? She even brought her own dog (I call black beauty, but think his name was smokey ha ha) and he assisted with stimulated training.? Heidi took the time to go over the training schedule for the next week and checked for understanding.? This was a process I enjoyed very much and look forward to the final?visit in a week.? I will try to remember to update this review in 7 days after the final training. My dog Luna is doing great so far!!

It didn't take a long time to lay the wire.  The system has worked as advertised.  Our dog has not had any issues with containment.  She is an anxious dog but she picked up the concept and I would recommend the system to others considering a fenceless option.

We placed a call to Dogwatch and the response was very quick. Heidi came out quickly and was very helpful in determining our needs. Mike installed our underground fence within a few days and Heidi started the traing of our two dogs immediately. Our dogs were not easy to train but Heidi stayed with the job until they complied completely. We are very satisfied with the project.

We had a great experience all the way from the first call to Dogwatch to ask about the product, to the end of our second training with Heidi.  All questions were answered to our satisfaction and the training for our 4 dogs was fantastic.  We have 2 Shih Tzu, 1 Doberman, 1 Lab Mix, so you can see we have all shapes, sizes, drive and temperament. To put it simply, the Dogwatch system worked great for all our family. We started looking into the Hidden fence products when we moved to our new house, which sits on 2 acres and had no fence. Our dogs are very special to us and if one ran off, trust me, my wife would not do anything until the dog was found.  After our installation and training, the fear of the Dogs running off our 2 acre property after a squirrel or rabbit are now GONE!   

I had Graham in our home for explaining the product.  He answered all my questions and only sold me what I needed, which was nice from a "salesman".  After 10 minutes I told him, you don't have to tell me more, I'm sold.  Guess what, he still took the time to explain the other features of the product, I was not just a sale to him, you could tell that... I believe the guy who installed my fence was Mike.  The fence was placed exactly where I wanted it way quicker than I expected.  Finally, the training was done with Heidi, who is an outstanding lady and you can tell really enjoys her job and really cares that our family members/pets "got it"  She even brought her own dog out to "test" my dogs reaction to containment and a very big distraction across the line.  I cannot recommend her highly enough. 

\Prior to going with Dogwatch I did tons of research online.  There was some venders that were cheaper, but when you factor in the customer service and training, the minimal extra cost was well worth it.  If you are a person that cares for the safety of the your pet and want to be treated well and not just a sale/ dogwatch is your company!   

The installation took about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. We'd recently had some landscaping done which included sod so we were concerned the machine would cause damage but that was not the case. Heidi provided a free, no pressure quote and my first impression of her was a lot of what swayed me to choose DogWatch.  She explained the system thoroughly, answered all my questions and left me feeling assured training would go well. It was obvious she had a great and genuine concern for the dogs she trained. Heidi came out for the first training session and our 4 month old puppy did well. She came back out the following week to give us further instruction for training and when/how to begin removing the flags. When Heidi said to "call with any questions" I believed she would be available.  Aside from Heidi's professionalism, the quote, the savings on the cost of the batteries and the "100% guaranteed success rate" were the other deciding factors for choosing DogWatch. I also love the audible warning and that we can adjust the training levels without calling for service.  We are pleased with DogWatch and would definitely recommend them!

We selected Dog Watch after researching other providers and getting one other quote.  Dog Watch was just a little less money, but cost was not the deciding factor.  We felt the Dog Watch product had features that made it the best selection.  These included much longer battery life, the ability for the owner to adjust the correction level and a "tattle tale" feature that lets you know if your dog as tested the boundary. 

The installer was on time and installed the buried wire being careful of our in ground sprinkler system.  He did a fine job.  The trainer, Heidi, was fantastic.  She has been doing this for many years and really knows how to interact with dogs, and their owners. 

The best part is the results.  The fence has been installed for over a month now and our Golden Retriever LOVES it.  He really enjoys the freedom and we enjoy the convenience and security.

We were pleased with them.

We chose DogWatch after contacting two other companies.  I also talked to some friends in the area that had used them and were satisfied.  The salesperson came out and explained the entire process.  He had an example of the radio collar used and explained how it would work. They were not the cheapest bid, but we felt the most comfortable with them. 
The company took care of having the utilities marked.  The fence was installed as scheduled.  The trainer was great and really worked around my work schedule.  Heidi did an excellent job teaching our dog how to respond to the beeps from the collar and worked hard to choose the correct setting for her.  Heidi used loads of positive reinforcement with our dog and very clearly taught us how to continue the training process (commands to use, importance of daily practice, etc.).  Heidi also brought her own training dog to both sessions, using him as a distraction to our dog toward the end of each session.  The first training session lasted about an hour and a half to two hours.  The second session took place 2 weeks later and lasted about an hour. 
Our dog really understood the fence and respected it by the middle of the first lesson.  We practiced with her daily for 2 weeks, then continued intermittently for the next 2 weeks. 
She has only gone through the fence once when she just wanted to walk with us into a neighbor's yard.  We have loads of deer and wildlife in and around our property, so I have been very nervous about her chasing the deer through the fence.  However, she chases them out of the yard on a regular basis and stops well back from the fence line.
I would definitely recommend DogWatch! 

Went excellent.

I had done a lot of research on the different types of "invisible" fences. After looking at Dogwatch, they were clearly the superior product. I was a bit worried about the cost  at first, thinking they may be out of my price range. I contacted them to set up an appointment to review their product with me. There was a scheduling conflict , but they contacted me right away and let me know that they  send some one else, but they would be there an hour later than originally agreed upon. Heidi came out walked the property with us, talked about their product, played with our dog Bogey and explained the process. She went over the different products with us and the costs, explained how everything worked and why they had the best product in the industry. There was no pressure to sign up that day which i really liked. I called back that Monday, set up an appointment for installation the next weekend. It went EXACTLY the way they said it would. They arrived on time, walked the property with me to know where to install the line and got to work. Any questions I had, they answered. That afternoon Heidi returned to train Bogey. WOW! Bogey caught on right away. Heidi even had her dog, Smokey play with Bogey a bit and when Smokey ran outside the fence line, it was amazing, Bogey did not follow. It has been a month now and we have had a great experience with this product.We live on a corner lot with a busy street on one side and a semi busy street leading to the golf course on the other side. So i was very worried about installing this type of fencing.  While we're very careful to always be outside when Bogey is outside, i feel 100% confident that she is not going to run off or run through the fence. She loves the freedom of being able to run around the yard. I love knowing she is safe. Whn we put her Dogwatch collar on each morning, I tell her it's her "safety" collar! I'm not sure who feels safer... me or Bogey!

The people I met with seemed very nice. I did some training myself after and the dogs are doing great. The representative they sent was great and she went out of her way and took the time to train the dogs. I was very grateful in that regard. The one who installed the wire knew exactly what he was doing and kept checking up with me to find out exactly what I wanted done.

We adopted a small dog in October of last year. Whenever the dog had to go to bathroom, someone (me) had to accompany her ( rain, shine, day, night, hot or cold). And you know, it was mostly cold lately. We decided to try an electric chaperone (hidden fence) to get a break from the doggy parenting/surveillance routine. We called DogWatch made an appointment. Heidi came out and explained how the system works. We agreed to purchase the system. Ava helped me arrange a payment plan so I could purchase the fence. When the weather broke, Mike installed the fence. Heidi came twice to show us how to train the dog to respect her newly granted freedom. We've been enjoying the freedom the fence gives us. Our little dog is also enjoying her freedom the leash.
I would recommend a DogWatch fence to anyone seeking a respite from being tethered to the leash!

The installer showed up on time and installed the hidden fence exactly where we wanted it. The installer was fast and efficient and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. I was a little concerned because we have a sprinkler system, and didn't want mishaps that would result in cutting an irrigation line. There were no problems.
Shortly after installation was complete, Heidi turned up to and quot;trainand quot; us first on the equipment, and then train our dog. She was wonderful with our pet - patient but definitely and quot;in chargeand quot; and our dog knew it! She spent about an hour with us, and by the time she left, our dog knew exactly where she would and would not go. Heidi returned in 2 weeks for another training session, but there wasn't much to do - between her outstanding training (of all of us), and a very smart dog, our pooch had it all down pat. We did spend time with her every day reinforcing the training during those 2 weeks, but by the beginning of week 2 we felt confident leaving her alone outside.
This is the best investment we have made for our and our pet's freedom. It has taken all the hassle out of tying her out on a line - especially in bad weather. She LOVES it, and so do we.
We like the Dog Watch system because of the many great features - like being able to replace the long-lasting collar batteries by dropping in to the local Radio Shack (rather than buying a proprietary battery more frequently), the user-friendly control system and collar, the FM rather than AM frequency used (no interference), and the price.
Dog Watch is returning next week to install some loops in the landscape beds (now that she's free, our dog is way too interested in the mulch and shrubs). No cost (except for the wire itself) since it's within 90 days of original installation.
All in all, having Dog Watch install this hidden fence has been a very positive experience.

Mike was very professional and thorough. He found the fence line quickly. He marked it. He also went over how to train my golden retriever on the fence. He performed the first training. This company is top notch. I felt educated and able to continue to train my dog. I am thoroughly impressed with this company. There were no hidden fees. The price was exactly what I was quoted.

The provider did exactly what they told me they would do. The salesperson, Heidi, came to my home, explained how the hidden fence system worked, how my dogs (2) should respond to it, explained the training, etc. Contacted Dogwatch a few weeks after the meeting and scheduled the fence installation. Installer did a great job. Heidi came after the installation was done and worked with both my dogs and my family so we were all on the same page with how to train the dogs/how the system worked. Heidi came back 1 week later to see how things were going. Still in the process of training the dogs, plus we still have a tradiation wood fence that will soon be taken down (hidden fence replacing the wooden fence). Came up with a plan on how to continue training the dogs once the wooden fence comes down. It'll be a little longer training process due to the removal of the wooden fence, but we knew that going into this.
I am pleased with the service I received and would recommend Dogwatch to others. So far, so good!

After looking at all the other hidden fence companies, we felt more comfortable with the Dog Watch system. We liked the fact hte dog gets a warning beep that warns them they are near the perimeter, before getting shocked. The system works on an FM frequency, rather than AM like most. We are able to make adjustments to the settings (shock strength and speed, as well as how close they can get to the fence, before warning), rather than having to have a service call. The battery life is two years and Dog Watch does not require you to buy the batteries from them (although, we likely will).
Heidi was a great trainer. She not only cares about how the system will affect you dog, but how the owner adjusts to the idea of their dog getting a shock. She's willing to answer any questions and will explain every feature of the system to you.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dog Watch to anyone.

DogWatch of Cincinnati was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.   Heidi was very knowledgeable and friendly.  She explained our options well and took a lot of time to be sure we were comfortable with our decision.  We thought their price was very competitive and really liked several of the options including the ability to adjust the signal strength levels ourselves instead of having a technician come out to do it.  The long battery life of the collar was also a plus.  The installer, Mike, was prompt and courteous.  He was very efficient and clean about our installation.  DogWatch was also wonderful at working with our dog to train him on the fence.  He caught onto it very easily and is very happy roaming freely in our yard now; and we're happy to let him out the door without having to worry about him running off.  We highly recommend DogWatch of Cincinnati!

DogWatch was great, and showed up on time and did exactly what they promised. The new fence is great, and they provided training for our new dog, which was worth every penny.
