After I hung up the phone, I went over to the dish box and was able to fix it myself!!! I know absolutely nothing about technology, but I saw a and quot;resetand quot; button and pushed it in. That was all that was needed and my dish network was up and running. I must have spent close to 20 minutes listening to this service person telling me to do this, try that, etc. when all that was needed was to push the reset button. Very frustrating, but glad that I didn't have to have a serviceman come at 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning. UGH

I was on the phone each time for 15-20 minutes, would walk through all sorts of problem-solving ideas until the issues were resolved, including rebooting the receiver, resetting satellite connections and replacing batteries in the remote control! All my experiences have been positive and timely.
