The owner of the company, Don McNeel, did an excellent job. He has actually been a friend of ours and he did it. We have been very pleased with what he did. He did a much better job than the other people recommended to us. They were not really giving as much for the dollar as what he was. We have a small kitchen and rather than kind of going to the end and then there is a stove, he made it kind of a walk in and then it goes all the way to the wall. It makes it feel bigger.

Don is the exception to the rule among contractors in this area which seems to be doing things "when they get around to it." He came over and viewed the situation promptly, emailed me an estimate as an attachment the next day and performed the work a few days later. He showed a great deal of versatility and creativity in dealing with an old out-of-plumb house...and a homeowner who is not much better. I was especially impressed with his use of a coping saw!. The wiring works great and the ceiling looks like a tin ceiling with a coat of shiny new white paint!
