Fantastic. The service was excellent and Jo and team were so easy to work with. Home staging is not a super-cheap service, but Jo was willing to work with me on using some of my furniture, along with some of hers. And she gave me great recommendations on paint and carpet, as I needed to paint and re-carpet almost the entire house (by the time we moved out, our home had been very well-lived in). Would highly recommend.

Jo and her team are amazing; I believe they are the biggest and the best staging company in the Greater Cincinnati area. If you check out their web site you can see the "before" and "after" pictures of homes they've staged; the difference is amazing! I've been using Design to Market for about a decade. When they stage my listings they almost always sell in less than 30 days. In the past month, Jo has staged these listings of mine: a vacant $315,000 house in Green Twp (it sold in 4 days after being on the market for 6 months, unstaged, with another agent); an occupied $520,000 Mt. Lookout house (it had been on the market for 6 months w/another agent, unstaged, and I sold it in 3 days); a $340,000 house in Mt. Lookout whose owners have lived in the house for 30 years (it sold in a few days with multiple offers); and a $160,000 vacant house in Columbia Tusculum (it had been listed with another agent, unstaged, for 4 months; I sold it in 3 days with multiple offers). I also used Jo when I sold my own Mt. Lookout home several years ago which sold in 2 weeks (in a slow market!). For occupied homes, Jo gives great advice to the homeowners on things to do to maximize the sales price, and then follows-up with a written report. Suggestions may include de-cluttering, changing out faucets or light fixtures, carpet-ceaning, painting---all low/no cost ideas which make a huge difference in appeal. Jo has a warehouse full of very attractive furniture and furnishings and her team of designers go to work on installing the staging items. She also has a professional photographer that does a great job with the photos. I pay Jo $200 to consult with the owner of furnished homes; and the cost of staging a vacant home depends on the size of the house. Since most homes sell within a month or less you only have to pay for leasing the furniture/furnishings for 30 days. Jo and Lisa, her business partner, are upbeat, enthusiastic, and professional and my clients love them! After following Design to Market's advice, it puts money in their pockets!

All went very well. It was easy to work with everyone and the process was effortless. The house looked fantastic once updated and the new pictures, which were part of the package, helped create a beautiful look book by the realtor. We had 2 offers within a week and a half of re-listing! Hiring Design To Market for our Estate Sale paid off and really helped present the house in it's best light.

I had used Jo previously to stage my home in Ft Thomas which sold for 10K above asking price. Jo is the consummate professional. She arrived on time, inspected my home with me, making suggestions as we walked through. She has an amazing eye, identifying items that I wouldn't have thought to consider, e.g. cleaning the grout in the tile bathrooms and washing the windows. I received an email the next day explaining in detail what I needed to accomplish. She provided the additional items needed to complete the staging. Her crew arrived at the appointed day/time. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that much of the artwork on the walls was out of level. However, the result was that my condo sold the morning it was listed for full asking price! Note that Jo is very in-demand, so be sure to book her as early as possible in the selling process.

The service was okay. The only problem was that they were expensive. I wish they were a little less expensive. They were really good.

I contacted Design to Market, who was referred to me by my real estate agent. She came over to my vacant home, a mid-century (50's) ranch, and walked thru with her associate making notes. My property had already been prepped with fresh paint, etc., and I knew from previous experience that a staged home and professional photographs get more attention in a MLS listing.
The furniture and artwork went in on the scheduled day, the pictures were taken and sent to my agent, who put them on the listing.
Everyone commented how beautiful the house looked! To say the least. it got lots of showings, and we got an offer on the house within TWO weeks of putting it on the market! I sincerely believe that the staging was not an expense, but an investment to get the house sold quickly!
I highly recommend Jo and her team if you are selling a house!

I contacted Design to Market for new suggestions when a property I had for sale was generating only passing interest despite a good location and being in good condition.
Jo evaluated the MLS pictures during our phone conversation. She walked through the property, explained the first impressions, and gave me an estimate for staging. On the day of staging, she and her associate arrived on time with a vanload of everything from artwork to lamps, light bulbs, picture hooks and hammers. In 3 hours, they transformed the presentation of the house using a well designed decor that featured the best aspects of the home. When they left, they provided a very modest list of suggestions for additional finishing touches. The buyer feedback changed from and quot;datedand quot; to and quot;very nice propertyand quot; immediately. The updated MLS pictures helped bring in higher quality buyers.
Design to Market's approach was very practical. They did not focus on major renovations, large projects or a suggest long list of purchases. Instead, they brought in a few pieces of furniture to emphasize the best use of key rooms in the property, then showed the rest of the house to advantage by placing rugs, artwork, lamps, and knicknacks. They left me with a list of suggestions that I was able to accomplish easily such as painting one wall, changing linens in the baths, and prepacking some items.
Unlike a previous stager who left me with a overwhelming list of projects and my home in complete disarray, the house was ready to show immediately when they left. I felt good about the property and the way it looked. I was especially relieved to avoid time and money shopping for decor items I will not use again. Most importantly, buyers' perception of the house changed from dated to well maintained and the feedback was much more positive.

One of the things they suggested we do was replace several rooms carpet and they suggested a place for us to use, which we did. They were very helpful. They came quickly and provided good feedback. We would use them again.
