Some of the plantings were successful; others were not. The dwarf Korean lilac on the side has never matured. The plantings on the right-side in the front of the house died the first year. They were replaced and died again the second year. They were the wrong choices for a very sunny area. Overall, I was very disappointed with the landscaping service.

Last year we had contacted 3 companies for quotes to design and build a paver patio for us, Delhi was the lowest in cost and the best design. Due to unforeseeable circumstances at the time, the project was delayed till this year. We contacted them in August about performing the work based upon the old design, they came out and re-evaluated and the cost was the same.
We had to coordinate this project with 2 other companies - a stumper remover company, installation of a new tree and then the patio. Thomas with Delhi was efficient and quick in all of his responses to our questions. Once the other contractors were completed, Delhi was ready to go. The project took 1.5 weeks to complete and it is beautiful. The project had multiple issues; soil grading, fragile drainage under the construction area and they handled everything in an wonderful manner.

Mark was our contact person from the point when we met him in their Liberty Township store all the way through picking trees and checking the job after it was completed. He was very knowledgable on which trees would be best for each location in our yard. He kept us updated on when the job would be completed as well.
We waited for a week or so to get the quote back, but that was reasonable given that we first started talking with Mark in late May, a very busy time for landscapers. Once we got the quote and discussed tree selection, it was only a week or two until we had the work done. Because it has been so dry this summer, Mark actually followed up to go over watering instructions again and to check on how the trees were doing.

They charged $18000 for the patio and landscaping and another $4000 for the retaining walls being planted up in front of my house. This was a patio paver type thing with stone wall. We still bought plant material from their stores. I thought their price was kind of high because we had only 1 bid.

Based on past experience with buying plants directly from Delhi Garden Shops, I expect/hope that the trees will be excellent.

Delhi Flower and Garden does great work, and they have a nice selection to choose from.

ORIGINAL PLANTING WAS WELL DONE. BUT MANY OF THE PLANTS PROMPTLY DIED AND SEVERAL WEEKS LATER, I'M STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO BE REPLACED. SUMMER IS NEARLY OVER...
