I hired Crux Construction to do a full kitchen remodel - cabinets, floor, appliances, countertops. I worked mainly with Tom Beard who was great. He talked me through the remodel process and consulted on design options. I was trying to decide whether or not I wanted to open up the exisitng pass through window to create a more open feel. After he told me what was possible from a construction standpoint based on my budget, i decided not to pursue it. Tom them gave me some other ideas and options on how to make the kitchen feel larger and more open through design. He went with me to various home improvement stores to look at designs, styles and prices of the cabinets, floor tiles, countertops. He was very knowledgeble about the different retail outlets and knew who was having sales on which items, as a result I was able to get my cabinets and cabinet fixtures at 40% discount. The whole team was very respectful of my house, kept the work area clean, and gave me daily updates of how the project was progressing. I was very pleased with the final outcome, I get a lot compliments on my new kitchen especailly on how much bigger it looks. I would upload pictures for others to see if it were possible.  
Note - the $4500 does not include the cost of appliances, cabinets, countertops, floor tiles, sink/faucet
