Champion Windows and Home Exteriors of Cincinnati

An over the deck project was designed that required HOA approval. Champion's handling of this project lacked any sort of professional behavior. 1) Champion secured funding from a loan account prior to submitting and receiving HOA approval. This caused the customer, me, to have to start making payments on a project that was not approved. I contacted Champion to inquiry about this and then they finally submitted for HOA approval. 2) The HOA ended up denying the project for not conforming to HOA rules and no other solution would fit the dimensions. I emailed our sales rep multiple times, I called the sales rep and left voice messages asking for a process to cancel project due to HOA denial. No reply was received. I called Champion office and asked to speak to the sales rep's supervisor/manager. I left a voice message with that person. I posted a message on the Champion website asking for someone to contact us about the cancellation process. 3) After an email request, asking another Champion employee for the sales reps supervisor/manager contact info, the sales rep finally responded that the contract was cancelled and an email message confirmation would be sent in the morning. That was 4 days ago (as of this writing) and no email has been received. I called the finance company and we still have a balance due on a loan that should never have been started before HOA approval was received. I have all sent and received email messages necessary to verify the above statements. Champion's actions on this project (securing funding before approval, refusing to respond to customer emails and voice mails) are not befitting a trusted company.

The installers were efficient and worked quickly. I was confident concerning the installation and the sealing of the windows. They cleaned up everything after completion.

The windows and front entrance door were installed quickly, efficiently and the installers were great to deal with. They made sure everything was installed and worked correctly and cleaned up when they were finished.

This is the second house I have had Champion windows installed. They are efficient, professional, and the windows are beautiful. Both times it has greatly lessened my heating and cooling bills. I am completely satisfied.

Took a long time to start the project once we committed. Once the job started the work was good, . We did have to call them back because they neglected to calk on the outside and you could see daylight above the windows. They quickly responded and rectified the issue. This is now my favorite room in the house.

Service was not good at all. The guys they had doing our siding took forever to do the job. Siding was suppose to take 10 day but ended up taking over 2 months. Didnt finish what was asked. Left a huge mess for us to clean up. We will never use them again. Nor reccomend them to anyone. We wanted a reputable company but would of got better service from a small company.

It went well, but the window trim looks unfinished. The financing has turned into a nightmare. Greensky has an outrageous interest rate and it's more like loansharking, because of the rate of interest charged is so high that payments don't make a dent in the principal balance.

The job went so well that I had them come back to replace the rest of the windows. Love their product and service.

I got the A team, put in 28 windows in a day, trimmed them out the next day. The crew were a good group, followed all protocol for lead paint conditions.

It was excellent, they were on time, they were financially reasonable, they clean up after themselves and I'm satisfied with the job that they did.

Poor quality, Don't trust them. Remember cheap price equals cheap product. Champion Windows is cheap. Stay away. Warning.....

the sales and installation experience were both very good. The phone appointment setup with nice and low pressure. I worked with 4 vendors and chose Champion. I liked that they were a Cincy local company and that they manufactured it locally as well. The door is very well installed, looks nice, and feels very sturdy. This was a very professional organization all the way around. Everyone (sales man, pre-measure, and installers) arrived on time and was easy to work with.

We bought an older home and we are paying contractors to do the updates for us. We were planning on using Champion to update the sunroom, siding, and windows. We started with the sunroom so we could use it more this summer (old one had thin, old windows so it got too hot). We almost went ahead with the windows for the entire home too, but the best decision we ever made was to hold off and see how they did for the sunroom. Very low quality work. The quality of the windows and doors are not what I'd like to see, but even worse is the little things. The caulking is very poor and looks like something I have done when trying to do stuff myself (which is why we are trying to pay contractors, to get professional quality). Installation of electrical outlets have been a headache, and the appearance where the sunroom adjoins the home is not consistent, but the installers did not seem to care. The previous sunroom was level and met up with the house evenly, but the new one Champion installed sticks out several inches on one part, and is flush with the house on another part. Of course they say they cant fix it but they did not inform us of this before hand or during the installation or measurement. They actually said everything was even and straight. They promised us 4-6 weeks for install and when we inquired at the end of this timeframe, they told my wife she needs to be patient and they will come when they get the product. It wasn't like she was calling a week after we signed, we waited until this timeframe was up and called, because we hadn't heard anything. When they finally showed up, they installed 3/4 of the sunroom and waited another two weeks to install the other 1/4. If you are thinking about buying a product from them and want to know more, just ask and I can send up close pictures or answer questions. I do not recommend working with these people. Cheap feeling and looking product, and inferior installation. The salesman (Brady) says he stood behind the product, but we haven't heard or seen from him. We have been stuck dealing with the installers and they clearly want to do the minimum. We got a garage door from AE door and window, and were happy with product and service. We will be using them to do our windows and will look somewhere else for the siding. At this point I'd like to see the salesman come and look me in the eye and stand behind this product, but I doubt it will happen. The install just finished today and I am very dissatisfied. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!! I attached a few pics but they are just a small sample of the low quality work.
