Overall an unpleasant, disappointing experience. Perhaps it is a sign of the times, or the current condition of such services in this area, but we felt we were ill served by this company, which wasn't as good as others at keeping us informed and which (we found out later) offered us much fewer options for financing that other companies (such as larger national firms) could have. LESSON LEARNED: In today's mortgage world, you will be better off working with a national concern, such as USAA or even a major credit union, than a company such as this. We could have saved THOUSANDS if we'd had the sense to do more research. AND, the recommendation they made to use Key Bank to obtain the second turned out to be a disaster for us, costing us a lot in the end after weeks of increasing frustration. So do yourself and your family a big favor and look elsewhere A LOT before considering Caliber. You will be glad you did.
