Top quality instrument repair at an affordable price here. Perfect cut bell and ring set job on my old Hoyer compensating horn. Ask for Chris Hite in the repair shop on Simpson Road.

Very knowledgeable, and no sales pressure. We liked that he gave information about all the options and then recommended a few and why he recommended them. Very kind and patient with our son who was encouraged to hold and try all the guitar options.

They have too many instruments to repair to do a quick job. It took 4 weeks to get one tiny flute repair done. I won't go back to them because after all the time we had with them and they did the repair -- we had one lesson and then it broke again. The pads on the flute were not replaced like they said. I don't know anything about flutes until I brought it to her teacher, and she said they were not replaced. The price is about average, but they didn't really do the work.

"Mr. [member name removed], We're sorry you were dissatisfied with the work in our repair shop and we are sorry that you waited 6 months to complain. As we stated when your flute was brought in, it is a very old model Reynolds Flute with badly rusted mechanisms and pivot screws. Parts are not available for the Reynolds Flute and so we were forced to take the long approach to free up the rusted mechanism and then work with them to make them usable again. It is very labor intensive and requires periods of soaking in a lubricant to help free them up. We let you know that it would take longer than normal because of the process. Additionally, we were asked to replace only the pads that were absolutely necessary and not replace all the pads, as was recommended. We did as you asked to limit the cost of the repair. In hindsight, we probably should not have accepted the instrument for repair because it was in such poor condition and required more labor than was justified. Again, we try to work with every customer and help work within your budget but sometimes we don't meet your or our expectations. We are very sorry that you are unhappy."

My guitar instructor was Chris Sherman. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for lessons. Prior to taking lessons, I was a self-taught novice guitar player. Chris really put thought into what I specifically needed to learn and how I could develop my playing skills. I took lessons for a few months before my schedule changed. Given the opportunity again, I would definitely go back to Chris for lessons.

I dropped off the saxophone in October of 2008. My son was interested in playing it. They completely restored it within a few months and cleaned it thoroughly. It took a little extra time due to parts being ordered and replaced. It was done well in time for the following school year when it was needed. It still sounds great.

Buddy Roger's Music has a guitar tech, a luthier named Dave Miller who is awesome. Dave is really honest and takes excellent care of musical instruments. He repaired my guitar.

I like everything about Buddy's. They are really informative and knowledgeable. They always recommend what is best with his instruments. We have purchased guitar strings and trumpet mouthpieces from him. He informs my son what to use and how to use the equipment.

We were disappointed that they were unable to provide us with a loaner instrument even though we had been told this was part of the rental. They said they were out of them, so we had to borrow one from the school for my son's concert. We also realize our rental isn't a very good instrument (keys stick) compared to the 'real' clarinet we borrowed from the band director. Plus, the store failed to call us when the instrument was ready, so we were without it for over a month. They also double charged us one month for the rental (direct pay), which they reimbursed after I called. But every time I have called with a problem I feel like they're reluctant to help. Unfortunately, they are the only game in town, although I have passed my concerns on to the school's band director.

The store manager was condescending, the instrument was not ready when promised, and they tried to charge me $26 to adjust the action on a guitar which I had only just purchased at that store 3 weeks earlier. The repair itself was done well enough (the second time).

WE FELT THAT THEY TOOK TOO LONG TO FIX OUR DAUGHTER'S INSTRUMENT. THIS DID NOT MAKE HER BAND DIRECTOR AT SCHOOL VERY HAPPY. WE ALSO THOUGHT THAT THE COST WAS TOO HIGH FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK DONE.
