Buckeye Tree Service

They arrived exactly on time and the entire crew was Professional, Courteous, Polite, and Friendly. In 2 hours they took down 6 25 year old trees and i small apple tree. All stumps were ground. The entire area was repaired and Cleaned completely. I could not have been more pleased with everything they did. I would definitely use again when needed, and recommend them to anyone else.

Got a quote, accepted the quote, and was told the trees would be removed in a few weeks. Never showed up. Called again, multiple times. Never called back. Finally, after many tries, I got him to call me back. He said that one of his workers was having medical issues and it was causing him issues, but he'd show up the next day to see if he could take care of my trees. Additionally, he promised that he would call me back the next day either way. I never saw him the next day and it's now been a month later. I have tried to call him several times, but don't get a return call.

Very well done and in good order, cleanup was also very good. They also left me with a truckload of wood chips which I had been needing in to cover some non-grass areas of my property.

It went very well . The work was done in a professional manner . They cleaned up completely when they were finished .

These guys are fantastic.  They even came on the weekend.  They removed two trees in our back yard, on a hillside and one very tall.  They were efficient, promote, professional and friendly.  They did a fantastic job on the clean up and our view is now better than ever.  I would highly recommend them for any future service.  Thanks so much.

I was at work during the tree service, which I let known and okay.  Upon my arrival returning from work I was thrilled to see how well the trees looked.  The damaged tree limb was removed and all the trees shaped professionally.  The clean up was perfect too.  I like to note in addition to the great work, the crew worked in adverse conditions.  Due to the recent snow falls at the time of service the snow was pilled up around the driveway.  Somehow the snow mounds did not discourage the performance of the tree service.
I will call Buckeye Tree Service any future tree service.

We have the deepest respect for the work ethic of Ted Roberts and his crew. My call was the week of Memorial Day and Ted returned my call that evening and was here the next day to estimate the project - he walked the property with me and showed me the pattern the ash borer leaves on the a tree and the path it travels to destroy other Ash trees in the area. One of our Ash trees was gone and the other needed a proper preventative which Ted took care of as well. It's obvious Ted appreciates the beauty and value of trees and would take every precaution to protect them - he's extremely knowledgable and it was very easy to talk to him.
On the day Ted's crew showed up - every one of the guys was professional, polite, and knew exactly what they were doing. Because we'd had rain, I was concerned that using a bucket truck would create ruts in the lawn, so instead, they climbed the trees to start the work. It was refreshing to know they 'heard' my concerns and found an alternative solution.
I had to leave in the middle of the project, but when I returned, the area was totally cleaned up, no debris anywhere, and they left the invoice with everything listed as line items.
We'd absolutely use Buckeye Tree again - we always try to support small business owners and this is one small business we'll definitely put at the head of our list.

Job could not have gone any better. They did a 10+ out of 10 job. They showed up on time with a large crew. They worked all day to complete the huge task of removing 5 trees. They went above and beyond removing yard fence to get access to yard and cut down 4 trees along fence line. They even helped me fix the fence (I did not contract for them to fix fence). Workers were personable and helpful. They exceeded my expectations.
Would I use them again….. Absolutely!
We will be closing on a new house in the next couple of months. First item on the list is to have them remove a dead tree.

Professional, skilled, speedy but safe, focused, very fair price for the work done. Ted calls if the weather means he won't come as scheduled. Easy to reach and very responsive. His team is positive, polite, loves the outdoors, knowledgeable and proud of the work they do. Also, they clean up everything before they go.

The experience with Buckeye went very well. They were very quick to respond to my request for an estimate. They explained everything they would do and provided a written estimate. Once I decided to use their service they were very quick to set up a date for the service. They showed up on time and got right to work. Through out the day they kept the work area very clean. They did a job for me which was kind of a critical, tricky job. They did a fantastic job. Their price was very reasonable. They are just good. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Mr. Roberts returned my call quickly. He sent Gary over to give me an estimate. Gary was very professional and has a love for the health of a tree. After I explained what I wanted he showed me how my objective could be met while protecting the tree and leaving it more beautiful.
Ted Roberts' competitor was just going to the work I wanted. His bid was higher so it was easy to pick Buckeye Tree Service.
After I asked Mr. Roberts to begin, he made a timely appointment for his men to do the work. They came on time, quickly did the job, cleaned up everything, and I paid them. The tree is beautiful. I will call them first from now on and just have them do my arbor work.

I think its an excellent company and they give excellent service. When you call you get an answering service and Ted Roberts the owner calls back very quickly. I think he even came out the sameday. He came out and looked at a big huge tree on my property. He suggested to trim the limbs that were headed towards the garage and towards the house. With all the storms that had been going on throughout the country I was worried about the trees coming down on my garage or home that is why I called him. One tree that I asked him about cutting down he said that it didn't really need to be cut down that I would be safe to remove the limbs. He alerted me about the danger of another tree that was pretty much hollow. He cut that down for me. I have lived in my house for over 30 years. The business was originally owned by Ted's father and I used him as well. He has been coming over for the last 30 years and I trust him to give me honest information. I wouldn't have been using him for 30 years if I don't trust him.

Buckeye was recommended to me by someone, so I decided to call them. Buckeye originally bid in at $500 (which was lower than another quote I had gotten previously), but that included hauling away all the wood. I asked what the price would be if they just left the wood in manageable sized pieces. That brought the quote down to $300. I then asked about adding stump grinding, which brought it back up to $395.
Timing was not important to me, as I was in no hurry to have the tree taken down. They stated that they were currently scheduling for about 3 weeks out, but since this was a simple job (one tree, no haul away), they would probably squeeze me in sometime in the next week. I agreed that whenever they came out would be fine. It was at least 3 weeks, if not a little more before they came out, which is the only reason I gave them a and quot;Band quot; for punctuality. This really didn't bother me, since I had agreed that timing wasn't important, but it was a bit slower than I had been led to believe.
Also, there was apparently some confusion or lack of communication within the company, because the crew that cut the tree down attempted to collect payment before the stump was ground. We asked about the stump grinding, and they indicated that someone would be by later to grind the stump and collect payment. This slight confusion is why I gave a and quot;Band quot; for professionalism.
The end result was that the tree was down, the stump was ground, the debris was left pretty much exactly as what I had agreed to with them. I think the price was very reasonable and I was very pleased overall. Throughout the whole experience, they were always very polite and they did what they said they would do. They even took care of a minor additional item while they were there for no charge. I would definitely recommend them without reservation, provided that timing is not a concern and/or you make sure to clearly set expectations regarding timing.

Came out quickly to give an estimate. Easy to schedule the work. Showed up at approximately 8:30AM and finished grinding the last stump at around 7:30pm. Did a great job of cleaning up the yard afterwards. Did a very thorough job grinding the stumps. Silver maples often have many roots spreading out from the stump on the surface of the ground. They ground all of these larger than about 2and quot; or so in addition to the stumps.
I definitely recommend them.

Buckeye has always provided high quality service at very reasonable prices. Buckeye is very dependable; they perform their work with very little waiting time, and always fully complete the job and clean up the work area before they leave.

More than one of the trees Buckeye removed from my property were well over 50 feet tall. At times they have had to drive their trucks and large equipment into the yard to get at the trees, and sometimes when heavy pieces of trees fall to the ground from heights of 50 feet or more they leave a gouge in the ground. Buckeye can fill in any depressions or gouges with soil and grass seed, if you desire.

I have always been very satisfied and happy with their work. I will continue to use Buckeye whenever I need more tree work done.
