Description of Work: We've bought many, many, many things from Bova Contemporary Furniture.

Description of Work: I bought a Ekornes Stressless chair. I picked one on display except a different color. It took a couple months I think before the chair arrived. To me, it felt different that the model I sat in at the store. The store didn't think there was a difference. I have been happy with the feel of the chair all these years but I still think the model was better. They wouldn't sell me the model. A couple years down the road I noticed that the leather started fading. The arms which were supposed to be dyed leather just like the rest of the chair didn't fade,,,,,rather the color started to peel off. The person at the store said he never saw anything like that. I can understand the fading but the color coming off the arms like peeling paint I don't understand. Recently my dog ate a hole in the seat. The store said they could replace the leather part of the seat. It would cost $199. I took them the chair and was later called back on the telephone. They said with the foam being eaten by the dog they didn't think the cover would be adequate. Besides that they said the chair spelled of urine and they didn't want to work with it because of that. You would think after buying a $3000 chair they would be a little more accommodating. All they had to do was remove the seat cover and replace with a new one. I would think they could hold there nose that long. LOL I didn't smell it but if they did smell it then I have no reason to believe they are lying about it. I picked up the chair and the cover that I paid for and took it to Clermont Upholsterers. They had no problem with the smell and replaced the cover for me for $140.00. I highly recommend them. Very nice people. When you are willing to pay this kind of money for furniture I think you have a right to expect that the owner and sales people be pleasant and accommodating. I don't think I have ever seen a smile on the face of the owner. When we bought the chair we commented to each other that they were rather cold and arrogant. Not usually what you expect from sales people. If you want a Ekornes stressless chair I would suggest you select a different store even if further away.

Description of Work: I used Bova Contemporary Furniture. I have used them during the house remodel. They have helped me find many pieces of furniture. They have also sourced furniture from overseas.
