Botanics Landscaping

Joe Neff is a conscientious landscaper who does the job on time and as estimated. He had a good crew foreman in Ron, and Amanda keeps the office running well too. They all worked together to get us a thorough landscaping in less than a week's time after the original visit to give an estimate on the price of the work bid. Guys came on Wed afternoon and again on Thursday morning, and got it done by noon. We had a time deadline, and they met their objective, with careful work still being done.

We couldn't be more pleased with with the service provided by Botanics. The management and employees were very knowledgeable. We love our design and the fact that they took the time to give us many plant options, so that we got exactly what we were looking for.  We even have a little vegetable and herb garden. They seemed to have a good process down, so the job went more quickly than we anticipated. We can't wait to see it this spring! Our dog very much enjoys her fenced yard and ourselves and the mailman really enjoy not tripping over crumbling stairs. We are going to have them come back to do a yard cleanup and mulch this spring.

My biggest complaint with Botanics is that they took very long to complete the job, despite being given clear deadlines and ample time to complete the project. They were working until 9pm the night before the project was to be finished. Also, some of the flowers they used in the pots died quickly and they were not replaced. I felt that we we paid too much given the time it took to complete the job and that I had to prod them to get it done.

Joe was very nice and took the time to answer my questions. When specifically asked about a Japaneese maple, he did a little prunning on the tree while there without charge. He is the owner of the company and a hands on person. Update 8/21/09 We were very satisfied with the finished job.
