Everything went great! They worked virtually non-stop and called in another mover to help at no extra cost. I would definitely hire again and/or recommend to others!

Drew, Donnie, Tomas and Mike from Big Johns are the greatest movers that I have every used. I have moved 8 times in the past few years and have several horror stories I could tell you. Big John has fair pricing, the guys were extremely nice, the team worked well together, they treated my items like they were there own. I have referred Big John to my realtor hoping she can get them more work and also would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mover. You will not go wrong with Big John.

They carried some heavy items including 3 glass tables up a flight of steps so I commend them for that. I just wish they would have been better organized and moved the heavier, larger items (they left a bed, outdoor table, grill and 2 other pieces of furniture) as I could have moved the smaller stuff much easier. I explained multiple times that I needed them to focus on the big stuff but at the end of the day much of it was left behind. Not a good experience.

The team was outstanding. The both of the men they sent out were efficient and incredibly nice. They ended up finishing ahead of schedule. I felt as though they were a tremendous bargain, and I would use them again in a minute.

It went pretty good. Their truck broke down so they hand carried about 4 city blocks. They completed the move and were very careful. They took the piece apart and reassembled it, and they also adjusted their price because there was no truck.

Big John Movers came through on everything they promised and then some. Jeremy was my crew leader and he came with John, Mike, Cody, and Alex. Later another crew leader, Drew, came and helped finish my job.
Another moving company, Move It Now, had really let me down and gave away my move date so I was left scrambling. The lady at Big John is very pleasant and helpful. She sent Jeremy out to do an estimate and he was right on with the time and space needed. Unfortunately I was supposed to have a team of 6 and 2 large trucks but only 1 big and 1 small truck were available (we knew this in advance and I was prepped to expect an extra trip and more time, to which I agreed) and 1 of my crew called off at the last second on the morning of my move. Another guy had been crushed by a piano the day before and worked all day even though he was in obvious pain. I think customer service is easy when things go as planned but the true test of it is when things go off track a bit and Big John stepped up and delivered. I was moved the day I needed to be moved even though it took the guys from 9 AM to 11 PM. This crew worked hard and took care of both me and my belongings. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat!
If I had to change 1 thing, I would have set up a designated smoking space at both locations and had a spot for cigarette butts. I am still picking up butts a week later.

James and his working partner were very energetic, professional and careful with the unloading and moving work done. They worked hard and completed the job within the two hour minimum contracted. We'd definitely recommend and use Big John Movers again.

We had used this company when we moved into our home approximately 24 years earlier. We called for an estimate, and Jeremy was prompt, nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They arrived at 7 am on moving day with a crew of six. They were very careful about things that we had pointed out to them. They got it all on two trucks and moved it to three separate places. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

"We have done several moves for [member name removed]. She complained that we were not hired for the bulk of her move. We did not bill her for 3 days of moving (she paid the men tips only). We also attempted to deliver items to friends/family members (which they refused to receive) and never charged her for that. We refueled and returned her rental truck for her. We did these things because she was a loyal customer (or so we thought) and wanted to help her out in her time of distress. She was dealing with personal problems and was in tears through most of her move. We never received a call from her personally about any damages. We were told 3 different stories by the person who did contact us. 1st call claimed we damaged everything in her unit. 2nd claiming we damaged pictures and lamps. 3rd claiming we scratched a table top. She is also claiming damages from the other companies she hired. She finally sent emails (October 9, 2013) asking for us to pay her in full for a new stackable washer and dryer, claiming it was "damaged beyond repair" (there was a dent in the top). The owner of the company personally rented her storage units, because she couldn't be bothered to do it herself. We received numerous phone calls from the facility that she and several people she hired had been accessing the units and left a huge mess behind. We were willing to try and work out an agreement with her however after reviewing the entire incident we came to the conclusion that she is dishonest, in this case she is flat out lying. In fact her move with us started at 7pm on May 11th, 2013 (Mother's Day) and lasted until May 13th, 2013. We sent 9 men to her at the spur of the moment and they stayed on site until 1am. It is unfortunate that she is now defaming our company. She has mentioned contacting her attorney and we are fully prepared to fight her in court and also counter sue her for every instance of defamation."

Went very well. We asked them to show up at 8am as we had a long drive. Other companies would not commit and gave us a window. The came 15 minutes earlier. They carefully loaded the truck making sure everything was tied down and pack in a manner that would limit load shifting. Happy to say we drove over some rough roads during the 700 mile trek and nothing was damaged or broken. Nice Job! I recommend folks avoid the resellers and always deal direct wit the company providing labor. It makes a big difference and they get to keep more what they earn.
