  It is a small company. They do the work themselves.They don't subcontract the work. So it is personable service. They use copper flashing and they do good work. It was expensive but it is a complex job. I would use them in the future.

Update: Follow-up roofing care has been abysmal. I called several times from March through October to close a hole that squirrels nested in and creating damage. I laboriously trapped all the squirrels (9) and removed them so it would be safe to close the hole. I had to keep trapping all year because Bayless never came. Even when they had work just two blocks away!! One would think that after a $16,000 job and a glowing review, they would take care of a small but serious problem in a timely manner. But NO! I WITHDRAW MY RECOMMENDATION OF BAYLESS ROOFING. Mr. Bayless was personable and conscientious. Work started later than expected, but this was not a problem. Tear off went well. Mrs. Bayless supervised garden protection and cleanliness. Workers were on other jobs and so work sometimes stretched out longer than desired, but this was within reason, especially considering that they had to have other work in progress during periods when owner was away. Owner engaged an independent consultant, Criterium S.T.A. Engineers, to inspect the installation. Mr. William Turner, President, came by several times, unrecognized by roofers, to observe work habits and methods of installation. After the job was completed, owner withheld about $1000 pending final inspection. Mr. Bayless, though displeased at first by having his work subject to inspection and final payment delayed, went along and in the end seemed pleased with evaluation.
