Ed and his team did an amazing job from start to finish. They found my leak within minutes, the knowledge and expertise demonstrated on my job was beyond my highest expectations. They diligently worked at it until the job is completed. It was as if they are working on their own property. They finished the job in one day no less, when others told me days. They left the area of the excavation better than expected and my job was completed at the cost quoted nothing hidden everything explained and completed as promised. I will recommend everyone I know in need or drainage/water repairs to Atlas Drainage Systems.

Our total experience with Atlas Drainage Systems was extremely positive. I contacted Ed Bandenburg (owner) regarding a drainage issue that we've had in our corner/side yard for years. He came out, reviewed the situation with me, and then gave me a plan to effectively correct the problem. During the time that Ed and his team were here doing the work, they were very professional and made it a point to minimize any damage to our property in completing the project - which we really appreciated! As a consumer, it's great to see that there are still companies that are honest, have high standards, and are committed to customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend Atlas Drainage Systems!

The job went as expected. The drain was installed, grass was replaced and best of all the water problem is solved. Workers were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and worked like troopers in extreme heat.

Due to Ed's schedule and being on opposite sides of town, it was about 3 weeks for the repair to be made. All things considered, it worked out, since there was no immediate water issue. Ed replaced 6ft of 4" SDR 35 solid PVC and attached it to the tri-wall (downspout?) using a rubber boot. He seated it in gravel at the appropriate drainage angle, then back-filled using existing dirt. The charge ended up a bit less when it was done than what he quoted when he first came to look. While the phone responses were a little bit slow (which can often happen for a small business), it was worth the wait. Ed was easy to work with, and he and one other man did a great job! Thank you! Water buildup in our side yard after heavy rain has been bothering my wife and I for years, sometimes leaking into the (thankfully) unfinished part of our basement. We should have called Atlas sooner. I did so because is rating here on Angie's. Ed came out, measured our very slight slope (1 inch! which is why there was buildup in the first place) and gave an estimate that seemed reasonable to me. When weather and work schedule were right (about 3 or so weeks after the bid), came out and did the job. He and his coworker were friendly and professional. He explained the various issues and how he resolved them (3 catchment basins draining to street). Work area was neat throughout the two days he was here; he avoided my wife's flowers (thank you!!) at the end he finished out everything, planted grass seed and covered it all with straw. I waited for a big rain before I wrote this review. There was no water buildup at all. It rained heavily again, and the same. I am 100% satisfied. Fair price, good work, the result we sought. (In the photo you'll see our watering hose--not part of the job.)

Ed diagnosed and designed a wonderful drainage system. Our back yard and side yard was a swamp that could not be cut dry until June of every year. It is now a wonderful space. Dry lush and green. It has worked perfectly for two years now thanks to Ed. Ed did a great job and was very professional, and a pleasure to work with. It was a challenging site taking water from two large steep hills on either side of our property.

The owner, Ed Brandenburg, is extremely knowledgeable and explained the mechanics of the process to me in terms I could understand. He listened and "heard" me as I explained what we were experiencing. He then walked with me through the yard mapping out how the drainage system needed to be installed and then asked if I had any questions. His colleague Brandon was equally approachable, knowledgeable and hard working. They completed the work as stated; started the job sooner than expected; took their time to get it right and were responsive to request. I just cannot physically do what I use to be able to do. Ed and Brandon salvaged river rock for me and put back the rock they were able to salvage. Honestly, that was not their job. They added soil and did a great clean-up job. The balance was only $50 more than quoted and totally within reason.

Ed met with me, completed a thorough assessment of flood area and evaluated various options to solve the flooding in our garage and basement during heavy rain storms. He presented the best option and scheduled the work to occur about 4 weeks after we signed the contract. He was patient and conscientious in answering all project related questions. The project consisted of excavating the area, installing a larger catch basin and installing larger drain pipes, which diverts excessive water. The drains are working very well since September. Our garage and basement no longer flood. We are happy to not worry during rains! Ed and his nephew are very nice people, who worked very hard from beginning to end.

Ed was great to work with! He is very knowledgeable about drainage, and he's honest and friendly. Atlas Drainage dug the trench and connected the sump pump to the collector pipe out at the street. When digging, they hit the sprinkler system in a few places, but they repaired all damage to the sprinkler system just like they said they would. When they finished the project, the dirt had to be mounded up over the trench, however I was amazed to see how clean the yard looked when they were finished. They also rain a pipe from the downspout on that side of the house to the front yard to pull more water away from the house. We are grateful that Ed was willing and able to complete the project on some very cold winter days so we wouldn't have to continue with the sump pump draining into our side yard all winter. We will definitely have Atlas Drainage Systems back in the spring to help us correct some other drainage issue we have in the yard.

Work went well . Ed was pleasant to work with and professional. Did a nice job of cleaning up. Reseeded and applied straw to affected areas. We are hopeful that system will eliminate wet spots around the deck.

Everything went well. We had a slight delay due to rain but there is nothing anybody could do about that. They did what they said they were going to do and then some. The area was clean and re-seeded and covered with straw when completed.
Now we can only wait for the spring rains to see how well the project will work but I think it will be fine.

They were able to put in a system that is hidden under the grass and will not be visible once the grass grows. Yard was completely clean upon completion and they could not be any nicer to have around during the process.

They showed up as scheduled and fixed everything has we had discussed prior. I had a couple of huge holes in my back yard due to gutter runoff. It was dangerous for anyone traversing the area. They came up with a solution and did the repairs. They do good work.

Ed came out to do the estimate and spent a considerable amount of time explaining to me what needed to happen. Before he would do any work, he came back with a camera that he ran through all of my drain pipes in the yard, discovering that several were broken or damaged in some way. At that point, we decided to replace all of the drainage pipes in my back yard. Ed also does the work himself, so there is no misunderstanding with the job at hand. Despite having to dig several tranches throughout my yard, they were very neat, and kept the yard clean. Where there used to be a swamp, is now dry land! When finished, they put new grass seed down and covered it all with straw. Ed is a good, honest man who does quality work. I would recommend him to anyone in need of repairing any drainage issue.

Quick response and schedule. Arrived on time, explained well how the work would be done, performed installation as agreed, performed walk through with us after installation. All debris was hauled away and work area cleaned. Professional and easy to work with.
I wanted to wait until we had a hard rain to assure the system performed as intended. It has, no water pooling around on on the patio. problem solved. Would recommend this contractor to others needing exterior drainage work performed.

Altas services were prompt, professional, fast and very neat. The drainage line was well done with no interruption to side walks and minimal upset to the yard. The area dug up was well contained, seeded and covered when they were finished. The drainage is now working well and yard without scar.

Ed from Atlas Drainage Systems came out to give us an estimate on replacing the drain line that connects into 2 downspouts and a line from the sump pump. The line wasn't working properly anymore. We accepted his bid and he came out and completed the work in one day. This was in 2006 and the drain is still working great. Not only was the work done correctly but the appearance was clean and neat. He also seeded the trenched area and covered it in straw. We especially like that Ed gave the estimate and Ed did the work himself, that way there were no gaps between what was promised on the estimate and what the workers delivered. We would not hesitate to use him again.
