They did good work, and made a solid door.

Very easy to work with; I dropped off small samples of each profile I wanted recreated, chose the wood species (poplar was a good option for us) and picked up the finished product two weeks later.

We contacted Art Woodworking to create a pair of wood storm doors for our porch. John worked off of a picture of something we liked found on the Internet. He worked with us on the details of the design. He gave excellent suggestions regarding wood, design details and hardware. Art Woodworking does many large projects. Even so, they were happy to take on our small one. Their turnaround time was three months (we were aware of this in advance). However, it was well worth the wait. We have two absolutely gorgeous custom made French doors. We are so delighted and satisfied with our experience that we soon expect to have more storm doors made.
