We were very pleased with all services provided by Michele - from the "2 x 4" stage of our remodel to the final decorative choices. She opens your eyes to entirely new ways of looking at design options. The quality of her design expertise is high and all of the products you may choose to order thru her contacts is top drawer (there is no pressure to place such orders). Her prices usually beat any that a typical homeowner can find. She also has a wide range of contacts that she brings to bear on any phase of the design process. Very pleased, and will continue to use her in the future.

"Arbor Living Interiors contracted with the customer for a flat design fee for the entire project. After the first two meetings she was very happy and we proceeded to try to expedite a few things to get them in prior to the holiday for her. After placing the special orders a couple weeks later she called back and wanted to cancel everything. We cancelled what we could and agreed to work with her to only charge for the design time we had into the project and release her from the total design agreement. All items ere ordered. She started calling all over trying to cancel our orders and I am not sure where she got her information. When the table came in with damage we fought with the vendor and got that returned for her as well when the vendor preferred to make the piece right for her. I feel confident that we did everything possible to work with the client even through her changing her mind mid process. We reached an agreeable settlement a year ago."

I hired Ms. Nieter of Arbor Living Interiors as an expert in the Interior Design field but received less than an expert performance. I gave Ms. Nieter a key to my house so the work could be performed while I was out of town; upon returning home, I discovered she had left my house unsecured with the door unlocked, because she said she was unable to meet the subcontractors. The subcontractor who installed the wallpaper did a substandard job, leaving air bubbles, seams unglued and the walls were not prepped properly. I constantly requested my original receipts, along with the warranty information, and to this date have received nothing except an e-mail telling me where to obtain the warranty information. Although I explained to Ms. Nieter that I hired her to perform all duties and responsibilities, so this was her job to ensure I had this information, she still has not complied. Ms. Nieter needs to reevaluate her subtracters, as they did not produce quality work, and she continues to make excuses for them. I took her professional opinion that the subcontractors she hired would do quality work in a timely manner; I was greatly disappointed in both the subcontractors work and Ms. Nieter's.

"Arbor Living Interiors has been in business for over 10 years and coordinated many very successful remodeling projects throughout the greater Cincinnati area during this time. I would be happy to provide a long list of referrals. We were referred onto this project by a professional tiler and dear friend of the customer that also did work on the job who she was also unhappy with in the end. There were a couple issues that arose with this project that we attempted to take care of, but even when resolved nothing could satisfy or calm down the customer so in the end we agreed to just settle up as things were in process as she requested and took returns of items that she was not happy with and tried to help with a seamless transition to finish her work herself. I was surprised to learn of this review months after the fact when we had several points of contact in helping her transition her project. It is always my goal to get each and every client completely satisfied in the end but that could not be accomplished with this particular client."
