AQUA FLOW RESTORATION

Description of Work: On September 3, 2015 my plumber responded to a leak in the kitchen. I was told the leak was due to a pipe break in the wall between my Kitchen and Bathroom. I had two contractors come out and give me an estimate. Paul Davis Restoration came out first on September 4, 2015 and gave me a water damage restoration estimate in them amount of $5,900.00. Aqua Flow Restoration came out on September 5, 2015 and gave me a water damage restoration estimate in the amount of $6,100.00. On September 8, 2015 Joe Moody owner of Aqua Flow Restoration called me and I told him I was going to use Paul Davis Restoration. Joe Moody then stated he would knock off $1,000.00 from the estimate, remove my kitchen cabinets on September 10, 2015 and be present when the State Farm Adjuster came out on September 11, 2015 if I gave him the restoration job. This sounded like a great deal and I hires Joe Moody owner of Aqua Flow Restoration for the job. Joe Moody and his field guy Jeff removed my kitchen cabinets on September 10, 2015. I and Joe Moody signed the restoration contract on September 11, 2015 in the presence of Suzanne Cool the State Farm Adjuster. I wrote Joe Moody a check for $4,611.24 which cleared on September 15, 2015. I was initially told that this project would take five days to complete. Three weeks into the project Joe Moody told me that my foundation was still reading damp and needed to dry out for two more weeks. At five weeks Joe Moody owner of Aqua Flow Restoration stated he would be at my home on 10/14/2015 to complete the job and was a no show. On 10/19/2015 he came to my residence with his field guy Jeff while I was at work and told my son he was there to finish but he really only came to pick up his equipment that had been running 24/7 for a full month. Joe picked up his equipment, cut into the drywall and severed the wires to the Kitchen light that sits above where my kitchen sink would be, no work was completed. On 10/20/2015 Joe’s field guy Jeff left a note on my front door stating he was there to finish but no one was home (my son was home and is always home in the day because he works night shift) and to call Joe. When I called Joe on 10/21/2015 Joe Moody stated he would be back on 10/22/2015 at 8:00am to complete the job and again he did not show up. As a result of Aqua Flow Restorations negligence, I re-contacted another comparable company, Paul Davis Restoration, for a second opinion. Jeffrey Jenk with Paul Davis Restoration stated that this project should have taken no more than one week to be completed and if two fans and one dehumidifier was running 24/7 and did not resolve the issue at three weeks regarding the foundation or floor boards, they should have been demolished and replaced.
