ACTIVE PAWS MOBILE GROOMING

My labs were in the stage of losing their Summer coat and growing in their Winter coats. They looked a mess. I had Active Paws groom all 3. They were able to come out within less than a week. They were very caring with the dogs. The dogs looked great when they were done. Their coats were just gorgeous and they smelled great! Definitely totally different than they looked before being groomed. I really liked not having to haul them all to a groomer, which is very difficult for me with limited time and 3 dogs. They prices seemed a little high, but we are paying for the convenience of not having to take the dogs somewhere ourselves. Overall, the service was great and the dogs looked very nice.

I contact them via email to setup all my appointments. That is very convenient for me. They give me an estimated time of arrival and take the dogs to get their baths/grooming. It's very efficient and easy to work with them. They do a great job.

Scheduling is easy, by email or voice message. They arrived on time and parked in an out-of-the way spot on the street. The dogs trotted happily off with them, and in under an hour, they returned -- fragrant, soft, and with the best nail trim they ever have had. The Lab has black nails, which are hard to trim, and Active Paws gets them short and neat, without ever cutting the quick. The little guy was so afraid of the hair dryer that they brought him back slightly damp, wrapped in a towel, giving me the choice of whether I wanted them to continue. I appreciated their sensitivity. They were right that I would rather have him damp than distressed. I like that the same people come every time, so you know that your pets will be in capable, friendly hands. And the dogs are far cleaner than when I suds them in the bathtub myself.

They showed up for the first appointment and it went fine. I had a 2nd appointment scheduled and they did not show up. They called and said they were 25 minutes away then they just didn't show up. I called them twice to find out what was going on. I spent the entire day at home waiting for them and they never came and never called. They charge their customers a $50 no-show fee. I got nothing for my trouble. Finally, A FULL WEEK later, I received a telephone call that something had gone wrong and wanting to know if I wanted to reschedule.

I set an appointment a week ahead for 10:00 on a Wednesday morning. By 11 am, they still had not showed up, so I called and had to leave a message asking where they were and if they were still coming. Later that afternoon, I received a call back explaining that my appointment did not show up in their computer system although they remembered scheduling my appointment. My appointment was then rescheduled for 4pm the following day. I received a call at 4:45pm that day and was told they were on their way. An hour later they showed up to groom my dog. I gave them instructions from our old groomer and they did a good job following them. We recently moved to the Cinti area and decided to try this grooming service for the convenience of having them come to my home. It proved to be more of an inconvenience since I wasted a whole morning waiting for them to show up and then they were an hour and a half late showing up the next day.

Great - once they got here. Took awhile to make contact.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE. MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 6:00 AND THEY CALLED EARLY TO MAKE SURE IT WOULD BE OKAY IF THEY WOULD BE A BIT LATE. STEPHANIE ALLOWED ME TO SEE THE GROOMING AREA AND INVITED ME TO CHECK IN WHENEVER I WANTED. SHE EAGERLY GREETED MY DOGS AND SEEMED TO BE A GENUINE ANIMAL LOVER. SHE AND AJ WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. AFTER GROOMING THE DOGS, SHE GAVE ME A THOROUGH REPORT ABOUT EACH DOG. SHE ASKED THAT I CHECK THEM OVER AND LET HER KNOW IF THERE WAS ANYTHING I WAS UNHAPPY WITH. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE OVERALL!

THEIR WORK WAS BETTER THAN PREVIOUS GROOMERS I HAVE USED. THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND SERVICE CONTRIBUTED TO A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE MOBILE GROOMING FACILITY WAS OUTSTANDING, EXTREMELY CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL. SAVING ME FROM HAVING TO LOAD MY DOG IN AND OUT OF THE CAR, AND LEAVING HER AT THE GROOMERS WAS A WELCOME CHANGE. ALL THIS AND THEIR PRICES (INCLUDING TRAVEL COST TO MY HOUSE) WERE ALMOST THE SAME AS A TRADITIONAL GROOMER.

I HAVE USED SEVERAL DIFFERENT DOG GROOMERS IN THE AREA OVER THE YEARS, INCLUDING SOME GOOD MOBILE GROOMERS. THESE FOLKS ARE EXTRAORDINARY. STEPHANIE AND HER PARTNER SCHEDULED AT OUR CONVENIENCE DURING THE BUSY HOLIDAY SEASON, AND EVEN SHOWED UP EARLY. THEY EXAMINED THE DOG, EXPLAINED WHAT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO GET HER IN SHAPE, AND CAME TO THE HOUSE SEVERAL TIMES TO SHOW US HOW THINGS WERE PROGRESSING. THEY TOOK A LOT OF TIME AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I'VE PAID MUCH MORE FOR LOTS WORSE WORK AT FANCY SALONS IN THE AREA.
