+ -1 moreA few weeks after the "work" was done, it rained pretty hard. We had water pouring in around the fireplace and in the garage. We called the "company" to tell them what happened and never got a call back. We kept trying and finally got "Mr. Hill" who said he'd meet us out at the house to look it over, but said he "wasn't responsible for the ruined dry wall" in the garage...He claimed the drywall was already ruined. Not true, and he never showed up. Finally, my husband and I had to go out and buy new flashing, which the "company" didn't' even put around the chimney when they were "fixing" it. We also had to buy nails and other equipment that we needed to fix what was screwed up. Additionally, we had to go buy new dry wall for the garage as the water ruined some of it. Which meant we had do buy everything that goes along with dry walling. Since we'd already paid the "company" over $2,000, we ended up having to fix the job ourselves. Something we really didn't have time to do, which is why we hired someone. Needless to say, WE WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS "COMPANY" AGAIN!!!
Description of Work: We hired this "company" to repair the roof on our house to get it ready to put on the market. The only evidence that it needed repairing were two small water spots on the cathedral ceiling. We just wanted to make sure it didn't leak after we sold it. We got an estimate from this "company" that was better than a few others we checked and they were also recommended to us. So we decided to hire them.
