Carpet was perfect--workers showed up on time and did a really nice job, tile was nicely done, but grout left on floor was almost impossible to get off.  Vinyl floor was fine.  Now we come to the engineered lumber floor. The person who measured originally made several errors (he is no longer with the company) which caused us to have to order more parts and wait a month for completion of the job.  We asked several times for the scheduler, Matt, to send the same people who did the initial work  to finish the work.  For whatever reason this was not done, and 2 guys new to the project were sent. Several areas were not prepared as they were supposed to be by original installer, which has caused  some non-matching areas.  The best part was being told, again by Matt, that even though Andrews installed every flooring surface in a 1750 sq foot condo at a substantial cost to us (see above) that they do  not caulk or fill in nail holes on the pre-painted toe molding that they installed (and by the way put the nail hole in).
Communication has been spotty at best with certain installers not showing up for appointments (4 times) and then we were put to the bottom of the wait list and told we would need to wait another 1.5 weeks for same job to be done.  Several times no call about what time workers will show up--not even a range, or confirmation that they were coming on arranged date.
Owner runs the carpet side and is great to deal with--watch out for other flooring options.

We had a water line break in our finished basement. The water flowed under the carpet across the basement to a floor drian in our utility room. I called A W Andrews because they had a good rating and they specifically stated they do repairs. I guess I was lucky because Matt said he could come by in a few hours to give me an estimate. He told me he could replace the damage portion of the padding and re-install the carpet for $145 but cautioned me that sine the carpet had been wet that it may not be able to be stretched properly. I said okay, when can you do it. He said tomorrow about 2:00.
Matt called ahead of time, showed up when he said and started to work immediately. I felt very comfortable with him, so much so I left and ran an errand while he worked. By the time I got back he had replaced 6-8 foot of bad tack strip, re-placed the bad padding and was about 80% done stretching and trimming.
The carpet looked wonderful! He got it done for me in one day, first call to finish job. Great work.
I already have some other jobs in mind for him.

We have an area rug we use on our living room.  An area of serging (kind of like binding) had frayed over the years.  We first contacted Ed at Ed's Professional Carpet Installation because of his high rating on Angie's List.  Ed referred us to Carpetland in Woodlawn (Becky) to whom we brought the rug.  Becky loked at the rug and toild us the repair was to the serging around the edges which she did not work on and she referred us to Tony at A.W. Andrews.  A.W. Andrews made the repair, matched the color of the serging very well, and had it ready in about a week. After our circuitous route to A.W. Andrews, we were very pleased with both the quality of the work and the price.

Our interior designer recommended A W Andrews to bind a piece of berber carpet that we had removed from the family room.  They did a great job binding it.  The end results of the rug were a little smaller than we instructed.  It had little effect on us though.  Padding was an issue.  They wanted to attach it to the whole rug.  The designer suggested to separate pieces.  There was a little miscommunication but it was straightened out and the end result is lovely!

AW Andrews did a great job replacing the fringe on our rugs. We called a few places to get quotes and AW Andrews had the best price for fringe replacement. The fringe on our rugs was almost missing and was beyond repair so they let us borrow a  sample book so that we could take our time in choosing a new fringe. Tony also showed us the warehouse/repair area and it was very professional looking. AW Andrews took great care of our rugs and they look gorgeous now.

Our carpet was way overdue to be replaced, so we stopped in for an estimate at Lowe's. The staff helped us pick the carpet and suggested their installer (A

They did good work, however their communication between the home improvement store where we purchased the carpet at, and the installer Tony didn't seem to be good. The installation was great.

Tony came the day after I called and did the measurements for the new carpet. We agreed that I would come to select carpet and would schedule for installation once my house painting was completed. I called and scheduled for one day after my call. The workers were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up well once finished.

On time, done in less than 6 hours, no appreciable dings or scrapes on walls or trim, invisible seam, friendly and courteous installers. I really could not be happier. Worth the price.

OVERALL, THE COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB. TONY ANDREWS WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING WITH MY WORK SCHEDULE, BY COMING OUT ON A SATURDAY TO MEASURE MY PORCH, AND WE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE INSTALLATION, SO THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO BE THERE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED.

TONY ANDREWS, OWNER, HAS BEEN INSTALLING CARPET FOR ALMOST THIRTY YEARS AND IT IS APPARENT WHEN YOU WORK WITH HIM. HE GIVES HIS PERSONAL ATTENTION TO YOUR JOB. TONY DID THE MEASUREMENTS HIMSELF AND PROVIDED ME WITH TWO EXCELLENT INSTALLERS, ONE OF WHOM IS HIS SON. OVERALL, A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR THEIR EXPERTISE, PROFESSIONALISM AND GREAT ATTITUDES. I HAVE HAD CARPET INSTALLED IN THE PAST WITH LOTS OF DISAPPOINTMENTS. ANDREWS IS NOT A FLY BY NIGHT COMPANY WITH YOUNG INEXPERIENCED INSTALLERS. THEY WERE A+ ALL THE WAY.
