"According to the feedback from your contractor, the flooring installation and material have been nothing less than above expectations for you. As for payments, that is between your contractor and A Step Above. Communication from your contractor regarding payments has been sporadic and inconsistent over a very long period of time. Any further actions that may be taken against your contractor will be between A Step Above and your contractor."

On the evening of your scheduled measure appointment, Marty had an appointment right before yours. Unfortunately, that appointment ran over much longer than anticipated and Marty was unable to call you until he was out of the appointment. He called immediately after leaving to apologize and to see if you wanted to keep the appointment for that evening or reschedule, as it was getting late. It was mutually decided that he would still meet with you that evening. This was an unforeseen and unfortunate event that prohibited him from arriving to your home during the originally scheduled time-frame. As for the contractors who never showed up, they miscommunicated with us on several occasions that they had contacted you directly and Marty quickly discovered he was being given false information because of the ongoing conversations with you. These are not the type of subcontractors we choose to work with either. Because of their lack of professionalism & our own frustrations, we no longer employ their services. This experience was a very unsuccessful one that A Step Above Flooring has never experienced, but we take full responsibility for. The series of events at that time created a very poor, unintended experience for you and we cannot apologize enough for this."
