They came in and used a crane to remove the tree.   When they left it was as if they had never been there.   Very professional during and after.   They were very prompt and performed services beyond what was expected.   We would absolutely recommend them to others using them in the future.

Greg and his crew arrived at noon the next day as he had specified.  He directed the crew probably for my benefit as the crew did a great job on their own. They used a bucket truck to cut parts of the tree that were in the powerlines and did not disturb the powerlines. The whole removal only took a few hours. Everything was cleaned up and the debris raked away. Greg came back a few hours later and ground out the stumps. He described the decomposition process and what I should do over the next few months.

I picked out a replacement tree the following week.

I called Greg and he said he would be out the next day to plant it. Again I received instructions about watering and fertilizer.

Over all they did a great job and I would recommend them and would use them again.

I called them around 10:30 and they came around 2:30, which I felt was great, especially considering all the other treest that must have fallen. He was very professional and did a great job in about 30 minutes all by himself, which thouroughly impressed me.

Greg Leonard was prompt in giving us estimate, came with his team of 4 on time and did an outstanding job for our front lawn and back patio and yard. The entire team was very courteous throughout, took and carried out our requests and suggestions. We thought they were very meticulous and had good attention to detail. Left the outside of our home all cleaned up and looking wonderful. We are very satisfied and would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others.

They removed a small dying crab apple tree and replaced it with a similar one. The new tree came with a 3 year warranty. We used A-1 to remove trees in the past and they did a fine job. This was our first time having them plant a tree. The planting went fine. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, a deer rubbed most of the bark off the tree. I called A-1 and the owner came to look at the tree. He said his guys were supposed to put a deer guard on the tree and did not. He said A-1 would replace the tree at no cost to us in the spring. He said this to me in person. I called in early May and spoke to the owner again. He said he was expecting a shipment of trees any day. Once he got his shipment, he would plant the tree. Again, he said there would be no cost to us. He never planted the tree. That was the last time he spoke to me. I started calling his office in August and left a message with the lady who answers the phone. He never returned my calls. By mid-October, I started calling at least three times a week and leaving a message with the lady. He never returned my calls. Finally, the lady said he was not going to replace the tree and that he never told me he would. Bottom line is the owner did not do what he promised and he is impossible to get in touch with. In addition, we overpaid A-1 for the tree and planting. We paid A-1 $450 to have a small crab apple tree planted. We had a reputable nursery replace the tree for about half the cost. They put a deer guard on it for us. Both trees have a similar warranty. Our two problems are: First,the owner promised to replace the tree and did not keep his word. Second, we were charged too much for the tree.

They do a good job, are knowledgable and have a good price.

The tree had tons of deadwood in it. It was a huge tree and it was hanging over our neighbors yard. They man that came out was very knowlegable. He was extremely helpful. He went over to talk to our neighbor about going into their yard to trim the tree, so we didn't have to deal with that. He was very professional and had a good solution with cutting the tree down with minimal disterbances. While he was here he actually trimmed a few other trees. He will be coming back in the spring to take care of some other projects.

Everything was easy and great. I called to order a half-cord of firewood, and was quoted $138 to have the wood delivered. I asked if the wood was seasoned, and was assured that it is. I didn't have to be home, which was great. I arranged to leave payment, and when I got home my firewood was waiting on me exactly where I asked them to leave it. I think the communication and service were top notch. It was nice to know that if I had needed it they would have stacked the wood for me for an additional charge.

Absolutely perfect! Very reasonable price for all that good, seasoned wood. Technician was punctual, the wood was great, and our fires are nice and hot! The technician was so savvy that he even diagnosed our tree as having the infamous Emerald Ash Borer. (Not that I am glad to have the pest, but I am glad to know so we can treat it.) I would highly recommend A-1!

Price was good and did service as agreed. They did fail to send me insurance information and to also give advance notice on when they were coming out.

Overall, the wood came as promised in one day. We had one hiccup. Our street and address is easily confused with the next street over, but I left explicit instructions so as to not confuse the two locations, but I got a call from my neighbor that there was a pile of firewood in their driveway. I called and left a message and they corrected the delivery the next day.

FIREWOOD DELIVERED WITHIN ONE WEEK. NEATLY STACKED. IT SEEMED SOMEWHAT EXPENSIVE, BUT AS I'M NEW TO THE AREA, I AM UNAWARE OF THE GOING RATE FOR FIREWOOD.
