November 3, 2018 Update on prior info below: We still have not received any payment from A+ Some Assembly Required, three years later. I suggest finding an honest businessman. Prior posted information: This is an update to a prior review regarding the owner removing a pool table from our home to sell on consignment through A+ Some Assembly Required. He never paid us one dime after selling our table. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau last fall. October, 2017; his company then promised the BBB that they would pay for the table within 30 days. This was likely a ruse to have the BBB close the case. A+ Some Assembly Required, Dave Thompson, again failed to pay. The BBB reopened the case and he failed to respond to them any further. The BBB now lists the case as unresolved. Below is our initial complaint: "The owner was contacted for an estimate on moving our pool table that we were considering donating due to our upcoming move out of state. He suggested that he could sell the pool table on consignment and that we would receive payment for 50% of his selling price which he expected would be $1000 to $1200. He completed a written contract with us, removed our pool table from our home on November 27, 2015, and he never contacted us again. When we contacted him months later, he said that he had to install the sold pool table someone's home after their drywall was completed. This was in July of 2016. We filed with the Indiana Attorney General's Office; he did not reply to them either. We have never received one dime in payment from him, nor contact from him over his failure to pay. Great. It didn't take them as long as I thought it would. They were very careful with the parts. Wrapping them in moving blankets.

Dave Thompson was great! Very professional. He knew everything about pool tables. Since my insurance company was paying him through the carpet company to remove the table for installation I do not know the cost. However, since he was coming back to put the table back together we decided to replace the felt. He was very accommodating. Sent me samples of colors and help guide us. They did a great job. If I ever have a need for billiard table service I would call them.

They called me right back and gave me some short notice then gave me some tips on a couple of things. They were patient. They did a great job. They were also recommended to me by a local billiards company called Towns Billiards.
