2 years after closing on my home that the realestate seller and owner told me included the propane tank
a propane co. named Litter contacts me in a letter stating the previous owner wants out of his
propane service RENTAL contract. I turns out the tank was not owned but leased. The previous owner
was renting for 2 full years after my closing the propane tank that I was lead to believe I owned. The realtor
Cindy Stevens told me the tank was included when asked and in the contract she drew up for the sale of the
house under inclusions described the tank as LP gas.
Now, that Litter Propane wants the tank back , the realtor, Ms Stevens claims of course that she never
told me the tank was included and because in the contract she stated LP gas and not the word "TANK' that
it should have been apparent to me that they where giving me any remaining propane in the tank but NOT
THE TANK itself.
A perfect analogy would be the same as describing a water heater as hot water in the
contract and since the word tank was not mentioned ,that the buyer would get any remaining water in
the hot water tank , but not the tank.
My attorney says to open a civil suit and for his cost that it would be the same or cheaper for me
to take my loss and to have to purchase another propane tank from another company. So now I am out
at least 1,000 dollars for Ms Stevens error. I am sick in tired of people lying . Ms. Stevens lied to me.
Real estate sales is a cutthroat business and Cindy Stevens proves that.
