A job that should of took two day, the company gave three days for installation so there would not be a lot of nicking or damage to the base boards when installing the carpet. The installers took an advantage of the time frame and only worked from 9:30am to 2:30pm a total of 5 hours both days and on the third day came at 9:30 took a 40 min. lunch stated they would work late to finish the job but went home at 4:00 after spending 45 mins talking to their boss and not job related. The fourth day they rushed to finish the job and cause more damage. I have nicks in the wall from their tool boxes and the doors hitting the walls and door frames. Joe kept telling his co -worker to be more care but now I have to fix the nicks in the walls. They cracked the wall in the master bedroom and were willing to fix but I said no because I did not want specking dust all over the new carpet.
I told Joe the supervisor he needed to trim the up stair closed door and he stated maybe not so he had his other installer but the door on the rail and the folding door got stuck. They damaged the door rail and wood to free the stuck door and stated they did not damage the rail or wood when I was standing there watching. The same thing happened down stairs to the bedroom closet doors. I told Frank the owner and Mike the manager I wanted the installers to ware shoe covers on the carpet and floor and that was not done. I had to make them wipe their shoes every time they went outside because it rained off and on for four days. I still can see the seam in the carpet and told Joe but he said he did not know why the carpet was doing that and just left it. I think Frank over ordered on carpet and flooring. I have a lot of carpet rolls in the closet and about four feet of sheet vinyl in the basement. I was told by Frank?s floor installer it is better to over order than order less. Frank did compensate me for the broken rear canister sit. I will not use this company again.
