Description of Work: I asked for an eval looking for a source of water which was damaging my floors. He did come and did an eval. He was prompt, but the cost for what I got was high and I was promised a final report, which I never received. I got one brief hand written note before he left.

 + 0 moreMark is extremely knowledgeable and patient. He arrived right on time. Sitting down with us, he asked us about our concerns and objectives with the home's building envelope. Then he explained his audit process and established expectations. We were encouraged to walk around with him as he performed the inspection. He would point out problem areas and elaborate on issues. He took his time and answered all questions.
Description of Work: This company performed an energy audit on our 85 year old home. After placing a blower in the front door and creating pressure throughout the house, Mark inspected every room and every floor using a thermal camera and a smoke stick. He was able to determine air leaks and cold air pockets and assess the level of insulation on exterior and interior walls. Once the inspection was complete, he provided us with a report stating various figures including total leakage, air exchange rate as well as recommendations to improve efficiency and summaries of tests. Mark included a list of improvements, including estimates for his company to perform the improvements.
