This is the second time I've used Craig and Bruce - they have also done work for family and friends. They are awesome. Very professional and competitive pricing. This time they removed two large trees and performed trimming of other large trees. Very careful performing the work and clean up when they are done.e he best part is that they are just easy to work with...they return calls, show up when promised, complete the work and no hassles!

All went well.  Craig knows his business. No BS, etc.  He and his 1 (or 2) man crew were prompt and worked safe.   I bought firewood from him late last Fall. While here, I asked for an estimate for the tree removal.  He provided a fair estimate less than some other larger tree service companies.  He  wisely suggested I wait until a dry period this spring or summer as it wood be necessary to drive across our shady green backyard lawn to do the work.  On short notice and after little rain the past 2 weeks, Craig and crew promptly came and completed the job.   By the way, his firewood burned well all winter. His firewood pricing was fair also.

They were very professional. They showed up early the morning of the service and performed it with great professionalism and first-rate trucks and equipment. It was a dangerous job because the tree was quite tall. They took it down in stages.
We used this service about 11 years ago and they did a great job then as well.
Their pricing was competitive. Not our cheapest estimate but on the lower end of the range, and among the most reliable.

The tree service guy who came out is the best. There are other people who are good and they are a little bit cheaper, but the guy from Craig & Bruce Tree Service came down on the price. He comes out with his brother and they work with one other staff person. I asked him about the tree by the garage and he said to watch it. It’s dying a little more and I may just have it done, but he could have done it. It may still have a couple of more years of life. Once when we took one tree down, he was surprised since it was so rotten. He is honest and he said he will come down. In this particular situation where I am getting the money from, he questioned it and I had to explain it to him. I am getting it through a special service in Cleveland Heights that has helped residents for 31 years. It’s a no interest loan and other kinds of things. He said that he probably wouldn’t have done it if it was the first time he worked for me. He said that he has known me since 2005 and so, he was fine since he knew that he would get paid. There were three men for eight and a half hours and they charged $1500. Overall, they are excellent and that’s why I chose them. Their pricing is good. The quality of the work was very good. Their responsiveness was excellent. I would use their services in the future too. I am deciding about the tree by the garage if I can afford all the other repairs. They said that I could include the tree. The other repairs were too expensive and that bowled me over. I went to Craig & Bruce Tree Service first and settled it with them in the beginning of the summer.

Excellent responsiveness & service. Very nice seasoned hardwood.

Good transaction. Last year ordered a chord from same vendor and received mainly cherry and maple. This year received Tulip, Ash, and Hickory. You never know what you will get but I'm hoping it is as good as last year.

THE WORK WAS DONE EXACTLY ON SCHEDULE & THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AS REQUESTED. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT THEY FAILED TO BRING PLYWOOD TO PROTECT THE SIDEWALK WHEN DRIVING THEIR TRUCK OVER IT. AS A RESULT, ONE SLAB OF MY SIDEWALK MUST BE REPLACED. WHEN I ADVISED THEM OF THIS PROBLEM, THEY IMMEDIATELY, & WITHOUT ARGUMENT, AGREED TO FOOT THE BILL FOR THE REPAIR & OFFERED FOR ME TO DELAY PAYMENT UNTIL I KNEW EXACTLY HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE. VERY PROFESSIONAL & VERY RESPONSIBLE.
