I'm writing in response to your article "Petal Pushers" in the July issue as regards ordering flowers at a distance. I've used Big Bouquet for over ten years and have never been disappointed in the quality, quantity, beauty, condition, and value of anything I've ordered. [ It is important to speak with the owner; clerks are not as able to explain all the choices.] I've ordered cut flowers, arrangements, funeral flowers, and plants, ranging in price from $40 to several hundred dollars for my mom's funeral. Always professional, willing to accommodate my ideas while letting me know what flowers would be best at the time. If I wanted a small corsage for a tiny woman, I was given just that--not steered to something fancier. If I wanted just a hint of Christmas greenery, I got just a hint--not branches and branches. It's one of those rare places where I can make the phone call and know everything will be exactly the way I want.
