I was unhappy with bad service from another lawn care provider and looked up other providers on Angie's List.  Chris from Turf Magic came out the day after I made the first phone call.  After he and I walked the grounds he took measurements and left the estimate for my perusal.  It was much higher than I expected but I decided to give him and Turf Magic a year to see how they perform.   I received an invoice in the mail that offered a 5% savings for paying for the entire summer.  I think it could have been more, at least 10%.  When I chose to have them come out only 4 times instead of 6 or more, there was no argument at all.  When I rejected all the other services, they also did not pressure me into agreeing to them.   Due to a lot of rainy weather, Chris was not able to come out and perform the first service.  He called beforehand when he thought there would be a break in the weather. He showed up, when he said he would.  He used a liquid spray instead of solid pellets like the previous company.  His report said he used 77 gallons on my yard.  Chris answered all my questions and did not seem annoyed that I was asking them.  I can see that his service will be very good. 

Generally OK; they would occasionally forget or miss some areas of the lawn but would return when called. They push treatments per year but I think 4 is plenty; I have changed to doing it myself.

They are absolutely perfect.

I pay for the whole service at once. They get the work done when I am not around. They just stick something on the door once they are done with the work and then leave. I still had a skunk problem at the end of the last year even after they did the grub control. So they did take care of it once I told them about the problem.

When they came out in the last week for grub control, they put down some kind of chemical on the lawn. They also aerate the lawn and take the plugs out when needed. They always call you and let you know as to when they would be coming next to get the lawn work done. So, you can either have them come back or ask them to come on a later date. There are times when they come and you don’t see them, but they do come when they say that they are going to. They are honest, as they inform you if there is something that is not necessary. I will continue to use their services in the future as well.

I deal with an individual named Ken who I have asked to call me before they come out and he always does. They are very friendly, punctual, and have kept the lawn in very good shape.

I have been pleased overall. Ken comes out and answers questions for me whenever I have had one.
