Called them late on Dec 31st to have someone come out and replace our dining room chandelier and replace a couple of dimming switches with nondimming models (I supplied parts).  Phone was answered quickly when I called.  Was told since it was approaching a holiday they would be in contact right after the holiday since it wasn't an emergency job.  They called mid morning jan 2 right when they said they would and said someone would be  out the next morning at 7am so that i could be at work on time which I appreciated the consideration.  
The electrician (Sean) was very prompt and at my door at around 7am.  I walked him though what I needed done and he gave me an estimate of $225.  I thought this was a bit high for the job required based on a fair hourly rate which was explained at $65/hr.  He took care of everything I needed within a little over an hour.  
I was able to watch him work and he was very professional with regard to his quality of work down to the fact that he aligned all the screw slots up the same way when he installed the switch plate!!!! (much appreciated).  I would call on them again based on the satisfaction of work, but I would really ask for a more reasonable estimate than $225 for a little over an hour to get the job done.  

I will use them again.

Joe was very nice to schedule the whole house surge protection and the crew was very quick (took about 20 minutes.)  Since they were there, we asked for an estimate on adding basement electrical outlets and an exterior motion light for our backyard.  The price estimate was reasonable and we scheduled the work.  The date was postponed a day due to the crew running behind schedule.  When they arrived, they were pleasant and completed the basement work.  They did not seem organized (talking about needed supplies or tools that were on their other truck.)  I had asked them to select and install a motion light for our backyard, but they installed a standard light without showing it to me first.  They didn't review their work with me before they left.  I called the next day and talked to Joe and he apologized and said they would return to correct it.  The scheduled date passed without hearing anything.  When I called he said they had trouble with a truck.  All later phone calls were unanswered and voicemails were not returned.  I tried to reach them many times of the following three weeks.

I had to hire a different person to install a motion-sensor fixture. I was disappointed that I didn't get what I paid for regarding the lighting.  I am pleased with the basement electrical work. 

I will not hire them again because of their lack of communication and follow up.

They came out after I called for a schedule date and performed the required work. it was estimated to be about a two hour job since they had to run some wiring and install the lights. The electrician was very professional and personable and work diligently in rather cold weather. The job was completed and I was very pleased with the work. I will keep them in mind for future work.

I remember the price was very reasonable. When receiving my estimate, I felt he was very thorough and very courteous. His name was Mike. They were reliable and reasonable. They cleaned up after their work. The only thing I did not care for is that I had to go out and buy my own light fixtures. When you don't know what you need or want out there it was something I did not want to have to do. That was the only thing I did not care for.

Estimate done by Dan, who explained everything that would need to be done to hook up my Hot Tub. Extra updating was required. Got the estimate and hired them on Friday. Work done and completed on Monday. My husband says everything was done very professionally. My husband pointed out how neatly they layed the wiring and cleaned up. He told me how they needed another box (not the one in the estimate) and either they had one ready or got one easily. Once the electrician found out we had 200 coming in to the house he updated this to the 200 instead of the 100 in quote. He said two men worked constantly all day and when needed to complete the job a third showed up. Also stated was that they probably underestimated the job but never charged me more. When we received the hot tub, after reading the instructions and started to fill it, I called to see if they (GEM) could connect it (thinking I would need to make an appointment) and with in an hour they were at our house and within another hour we had the hot tub running.

Mike arrived on time, was very professional, did a good job and left everything neat and clean.

Two men arrived 10 minutes early. Work was completed in one day. Work looks professional. Employees were professional. Could have cleaned up a little better.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE, ON TIME AND LOOKED FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS I MAY NOT HAVE SEEN OR DONE.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER CLEANING UP.
