GEAUGA MECHANICAL

oGeauga Mechanical installed a large boiler for us in an apartment building. The owners of the company met with us and were very professional when we met do discuss the job. We decided to go ahead and schedule the job. The crew came out and did a phenomenal job with minimizing our down time and clean-up. The problem came later with the warranty. We started experiencing issues with the boiler not functioning properly about 10 months after the install. At the time we still had a warranty. Geauga came and inspected the boiler and told us it was working properly. On other calls complaining about it not working properly they explained that they already checked it and it is fine. About 13 months after the install, and 1 month after the warranty expired they finally agreed that there was a part that was not working properly and they had to order the part. The owner advised me that he was going to get the supplier to cover it under warranty. It took about 2 more months to get the part in and installed and then we got a nice big bill for the repair. The owner who I had been dealing with until now refused to call me back and had an assistant who was not a decision maker return all my calls and basically told me I am out of luck because the warranty was expired. At the end, I paid my bill with them, but I did try to call and discuss the situation with the owners and they have not returned any calls.
