Swift Painting is experienced in all areas of painting and decorating and has a large customer base of both residential and commercial clients. Swift Painting typically has from 8 to 14 full time professional tradesmen on staff as well as 2-5 part time professionals. All are well trained in both the trade skills and more importantly, customer service.

They said that they were going to put two coats of paint on, but it doesn't look as they did in all places. I can see where old paint is coming through, especially in the corners and along the edges. They skipped a whole part on our ceiling in the bathroom. They said that they would come back, and they only came back once. They used paint on our ceiling that wasn't sold at Sherwin Williams because it's their lowest quality and don't sell it to general customers. The actual working was very unorganized. They could have been much neater in many different regards. I had brand new carpet just put down and they used old, dirty drop clothes and stored their paint on it. I don't know how they got a good rating on Angie's List.

"I have lost faith in this reporting system. It seems many of the ANGIE'S list customers just want to hold these reports over the contactor's head to get free work and more work done> These people are prime examples: They were VERY HAPPY when we were finished. What they received through out the job for free: Professional color consultation,( $75), old dilapidated blinds repaired ( $100), all of the pictures that they said they were not putting back up, put back up ( 6 hrs of labor). went back and fixed their entry door lock even though we never touched it and it worked fine the entire time we actually worked there. ALL THIS WAS AFTER WE WERE DONE. All paint was approved and are top performing,products. Every square inch of their home was painted, and of course it will disrupt "normal living". We performed and finished the contracted (AND MORE) work during the customers requested time frame, even when they would: MAKE my guys wait 20-30 minutes in the morning until they were up and answered the door, wait 20- 30 minutes while they came back from breakfast, to unlock in the morning....etc...We were paid in full because they liked the job we did, I had quoted the interior of their garage to do this spring, and agreed to send back my foreman to hang pictures for them as I mentioned above. I had to send him back because the customer said she was to tired from watching us work so hard for the last two weeks. Their other quotes, according to them, all said they would be there 4-5 weeks to complete the job. The spot on the ceiling in the bathroom -I do not know if it existed, BUT THE MEMBER HAD SAID WE COULD TOUCH IT UP when we came to do the garage. Then a few weeks later I received this message saying how horrible we were from his wife. All of our drop cloths are clean, and we only store our paint after asking where a good spot for this would be. Again, for two weeks the spot was fine and we never heard any complaint."

Swift was recommended by two neighbors and the estimate of three was in the middle. The power washing was fine but in retrospect the prep work was less than necessary three areas that needed sanding were not. Also the promised sealing of the power washed deck was never done in spite of an unreturned phone call. Finally three windows were painted shut. The staff was cordial and clean.

"THE MEMBERS WERE GREAT CUSTOMERS AND I AM DISSAPOINTED THAT THEY ARE NOT SATISFIED. THEY HAVE A ROUGH SAWN CEDAR SIDED HOME, AND SANDING IS USUALLY NOT DONE BECAUSE IT LEAVES A MUCH MORE NOTICEABLE MARK IN THE SIDING. WHEN WE COMPLETED THE JOB THEY SEAMED VERY PLEASED. I DO NOT RECALL RECEIVING A CALL FROM THEM ABOUT ANY WINDOWS BEING PAINTED SHUT, OR THE DECK NOT BEING SEALED. WE TRY VERY HARD TO KEEP CUSTOMERS "FOR LIFE" AND I AM SURE I MUST HAVE JUST MISSED THIS, I WILL GLADLY DO THE DECK NEXT SPRING OBVIOUSLY FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE."

Mark was very helpful in scheduling the work around our needs. Although he thought the total job would take five days, he brought in extra help, so the job was finished in three days. All of the workman were very polite, pleasant and very business-like in completing the job. When I discovered one small area of a ceiling not done to my satisfaction, Mark sent in a crew, around my schedule, to fix the ceiling. The crew were also very nice to our dog as well! All in all it was a good experience.

Outstanding work performed by two individuals who are very talented and resourceful in texturing and Faux finishes. Additionally, they are very conscientious in their detail work (such as cutting straight-as-possible lines) and in clean-up. Without hesitation, I recommend this company for its professionalism, customer-oriented attitude, and workmanship.

In soliciting eight estimates to perform the work, Swift Painting was the most prompt and thorough in responding and submitting a bid. Though not the lowest bid overall, the owner demonstrated his willingness to work with me: the questions he posed, the time he spent and his suggestions were all good indicators of his company's professional approach. The job was scheduled in a very timely manner; the crew assigned to our house stayed until the job was completed; the surface preparations were thorough; any requests were very promptly handled; thorough clean-up was performed after every day's work; most of all, the customer-friendly attitude was evident with each worker. The crew chief, especially, was patient, offered constructive suggestions and was very dedicated to getting the job done right. Without hesitation, I would recommend Swift Painting to anyone who is seeking a detail-oriented, professional contractor to either transform or enhance the appearance of one's home.

THE CALL BACKS WERE GOOD, THOUGH THEY DID NOT REPLACE SOME OF THE OUTLET COVERS WHEN THEY WERE DONE, AND THEY BROKE SOME OF THEM, AND THE OWNER GAVE ME A BIT OF TROUBLE REPLACING THEM. THE WORKERS WERE GOOD. THEY CAME WITH FIVE GUYS, AND GOT IT DONE QUICKLY. THE FOLLOW UP WAS VERY GOOD. THE JOB WAS DONE IN TWO PORTIONS AND THEY WERE GOOD AT FOLLOWING UP WITH THE SECOND PORTION. THEY HAVE DONE A LOT OF WORK ON MY STREET.
