"[Member Name Removed] was at home, happy with the work, and paid via check. Days later, [Member Name Removed] left a message that he was unhappy and cancelled the check. We called back within 2 hours and a manager checked the job that morning. He spoke with [Member Name Removed] on the phone for 27 minutes and agreed that we would return to make it right. [Member Name Removed] said we cracked his concrete and broke a conduit pipe. The photos from the quote show both the concrete and conduit cracks were pre-existing. We texted Mr. [Member Name Removed] the photo. A crew returned Thursday morning, raised an area and re-cleaned everything. [Member Name Removed] approved the work again. 14 days later, we still didn’t have payment. We emailed Mr. [Member Name Removed] to ask if it would be ok to deposit the initial check. Days later, [Member Name Removed] called and left a voicemail that he had a “billing issue”. We immediately returned his call and he said that he shouldn't have to pay the entire $390 since it took 2 trips to complete the work. The office worker told Mr. [Member Name Removed] that the owner of the company would call him to discuss. The owner called Mr. [Member Name Removed] and left a voicemail apologizing that it took 2 trips, but we had been very patient waiting for payment that was two weeks overdue and he would like to know whether the [Member Name Removed] planned to pay for the work that they now approved twice, or if it would need to go to small claims court. [Member Name Removed] returned the phone call and was very offended. He said it was ok to deposit the check written the first time they approved the work. He was very insulting and vulgar so our owner politely ended the call. [Member Name Removed] claims that we destroyed their grass and didn’t return multiple calls. No damage was done to the grass ([Member Name Removed] agreed with us on this). A total of 2 voicemails were left. We returned both calls immediately. The facts must have been lost in translation between [Member Name Removed] and [Member Name Removed] because her review is far from reality. As the reader can see, we have a sterling reputation for quality and integrity. It is unfortunate when customers use good forums like this to publish untrue and defamatory material."
