Steve is married to someone that I work with so that's how we were introduced. We actually bartered a double child's bunk bed that the Polien's were interested in plus $200 for the job. Steve did a great job. He got the job done in one day while I was at work and I'm very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone needing plumbing work.

There wasn't anything that my husband disliked about them. The plumber was timely and professional. The price that he charged was reasonable too. We got 3 bids and the price charged by him was half of the price compared to everybody else. He was very thorough and diagnosed the problem. He showed up when he said he was going to show up and did the work. He inspected the work after completing it. If need be, then we would use his services in the future too. My husband has also recommended them to 3 other people.

Their pricing is very competitive. They are professional, responsive, punctual, and the quality of their work is very good.

Discovered at 8PM on a Saturday night that the by pass valve on my no longer used 18 year old water softener had blown out. There was 1" of water over my entire basement. I shut off the water to the house and started calling names from Angie's List. I called 4 names and at 8:45 received no return calls. I then called 3 more, including Steve Polien. Steve called me back in 10 minutes and when I told him my problem, he asked his wife if she minded if he helped me out. He then said he would be over as soon as he put his son to sleep. Forty-five minutes later, he arrived. An hour later, the job was done! He was fast, very professional, did a great job and didn't try to take advantage of my Saturday night no water situation. Steve was probably the single best service person I have ever had, period.

Called Steve to have him come out and snake bath tub drain. Steve returned my call same day and was able to come out and snake the bath tub drain within a couple of days. He was prompt for the appointment and cleaned up after the job was complete.

Steve took the time to listen to us. We had a special situation where all the plumbing needed to take place through the floor. Steve was flexible and did a good job.

They were extremely courteous and prompt. I didn't get other estimates, but I did feel the price was fair. I would use them again

He was not able to snake it, he told me what product to use and he didn't even charge me. I called him with another question and he called me back. He is incredibly honest and very smart. I couldn't praise him more highly. I will continue to use him.

Steve was FANTASTIC!!! We had two plumbing days from hell. Steve was our Superman! Day 1) water heater failed; he pitched in for someone else on a moment's notice and installed a high quality new water heater for a fair price ($850 total) and was very neat about the work. Day 2) We had a leak in a waste stack, which seemed very scary, and Steve came out early morning, determined the problem, and fixed it right away, before there was serious damage ($312). He also lined up a drywall repair person who could repair the wall where he had to go in to replace the stack. I cannot say enough about his service, personality, and prompt attention. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am sad that we are moving now that we have found such a great person! THANKS!

They were great. Steve did not try to pressure us into more work than was necessary, unlike a couple of other companies who gave us estimates.

We were exceptionally pleased with our service. Steve has done plumbing work at our house before. His associate did this job. He was prompt, pleasant, cleaned up after himself, and problem-solved our leaky drain (an add-on job after he arrived) until it was fixed. The weather was bad, and he also left home early so that he wouldn't be late! We will definitely call for our future plumbing needs.
