They did a great job. They did it all in one day. They did a nice job and cleaned up well after themselves.

Estimate given same day. Seemed thorough. His description of the job seemed appropriate (1st layer of stone ground level with base, filler rock behind) but also overkill - was putting in drainage pipe for the small wall. After reading through though, I noticed he had quoted 3 tons total of stone (base and filler). I asked him about it and he basically said they can't run out and once it's at the job site they can't put it back on the pile if they don't use it. We didn't use that much stone to do our patio and wall with a pillar! Did not appreciate being charged for what appears to be their inability to calculate stone needed on a job. They also planned to put concrete on the sides of the stair landing pad and end of patio - have not seen that approach before and was somewhat concerned about that. Overall, I think it would have turned out ok, but was about double the price I would have expected.

We were looking for a snowplow service and contacted them on Friday, 11/20/15.
Sue, the office manager, was pleasant enough and said that because it's already kind of late for setting up plowing for the season, she'd like my email address for sending the proposal. For expediency, I should be sure to check my email regularly so I could review the proposal and send it back to them quickly. I checked my email probably 10 times a day for the remainder of the day Friday, all weekend, and Monday 11/23. By the afternoon on the 23rd, I called again since I hadn't seen an email from them.
That's when Sue told me that someone would be out on Sat. the 28th. I explained that I would be out-of-town for over a week beginning Friday the 27th, and since my dad is 90 years old, I really wanted to get this in place before I left. She said she'd see what she could do. 
Two more days passed, and still no email or call. I called on Wed. 11/25 and she said, "sorry, no one can make it out before Saturday." I told her it would have been nice if she had called to let me know that (both to be considerate and it's just good business - the lack of communication and follow through is what earned them an F for professionalism, even though Sue was pleasant and "professional" on the phone!).
At that point, she took my dad's phone number and said that they would call him as they were headed to his house on Sat. 11/28. As noted above though, they did not show up or call that day. To top it off, the proposal - for $387.50 is more than 50% more expensive than what we have paid in the past!

The work team was punctual and did quite a good job. The men worked hard and responded well to an occasional request from homeowner. I have no complaints with them. They cut the lawn, trimmed, blew off driveway, deck and sidewalks at a reasonable price. Efficient and cheerful.
Several times when I needed to speak with the office, my experience was not as positive. The person who answered even began to argue with me on one occasion. It's possible this has changed since my last experience.

The work took two weeks from start to finish. Workers were here every day and were experts in what they did. A deep limestone base was installed and the circular steps were built by handcutting every stone. The workers were real craftsmen and perfectionists. Uniblock was used for the patio and walkway using a contrasting border. Careful planning and measurements went into the planning phase and the execution was better than I would have imagined. Landscaping was done carefully and artistically. Our backyard feels like Better Homes and Gardens due to the expert work of Naturescape.

The crew came every other week w/o me having to call. They learned what needed to be done quite quickly. I only had to remind them of small things on a couple of occasions and the men were always cheerful and responsive. I had no complaints about their work.
Once I had a disagreement with the office, but generally I was satisfied.
Billing was done accurately.

initially, it went well. But...lawn did not come in and needed to be replaced. Some plant material died and needed to be replaced. My driveway was dameaged during the installation of my project and is a constant reminder of the overall frustration I experienced with them during this project. While they appear to be a very knowledgeable company I can not recommend. Sorry Naturescape.

They steps are amazing. They own their own equipment so their rates are very good. They take lots of time to figure out the project, work with the customer to make sure its exactly what you want and clean up great. One of the owners was on site and involved with the project for the entire duration. They do not use sub-contactors. They were went above and beyond the call of duty. The company absolutely knows what they are doing.

Always giving us updates on how things were going to go, would return my calls quickly, punctual, let us know how to maintain the landscaping and set us up on the payment schedule that I was looking for.

They were punctual for the appointment to do the estimate, in fact, they called me to move it up a day earlier. The person who came out was very creative and thorough in different ideas for the layout. However, after more than two weeks I had not received a written estimate. When I called about it, I got an estimate within two days but it did not have the level of detail about the layout or pricing that I expected. They were obviously too busy, so I decided to use another firm.

Our overall experience was excellent! Mike was very knowledgeable and caring, and professional and attentive to detail. He saved us some money by not installing a drain pipe in the ground to start with, because he felt we would not need it, but said just in case it would be required it could be installed as the regrading was proceeding. It turned out we didn't need it after all, even though other landscape companies had insisted it would be necessary. The result was fantastic. The new side yard practically funnels rainwater out to the back yard like a river, just as it's supposed to. In addition, they noted missing dirt along other sides of the house, where it had settled over the years and the waterproofing material had become exposed, and at no extra cost added dirt to those areas too. They were prompt, came when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and always returned calls promptly. And, they had the best price compared to the other landscapers we talked to.
