Our dog was terribly afraid to go to the vet so we had found a great solution. Dr. Kocher came out and conducted an exam and routine services such as tests, etc...our dog was dealing with arthritis and we believe that the information and medication provided by the doctor prolonged his life and improved his quality of life in his last months.
Not only was this great for our dog because the vet came to him, but the compassion and care Dr. Kocher exhibited were above and beyond anything that we had seen at traditional vets.
Unfortunately, within a few months his arthritis had progressed to such a degree that we decided that he was suffering and that euthanasia was the best course. Dr. Kocher exhibited great empathy for us and for our dog. She understood how difficult this was for us and helped us through the process.
We cannot overstate how comforted we were that our pet was able to pass in his own home without being frightened in his last moments. We were able to stay by his side and be with him at the end. It was extremely sad but we knew we had done the right thing.
MVC took care of everything by taking our pet and performing the cremation and returning his ashes in a tasteful container. The services were performed in a caring manner and at a very fair price that allowed us to do this one last thing for our family member. Dr. Clark even made a donation in our dog's name to the Geauga Rescue Village. Wow!
Thank you Dr. Kocher and MVC and when we have the heart to get a new dog, you will be our vet of choice. We highly recommend them!
