Kitchen & Bath Etc

It was better than expected. The professionalism of each of the workers involved and the Kitchen and Bath staff were beyond my expectations. Emil, the owner, takes a personal approach when working with his customers and was always there to help you make well thought out decisions on my project.

They did well.

Kitchen and Bath Etc., did a wonderful job with the 'kitchen' project, we also had him do additional jobs including adding a beautiful wooden mantel to our stone fireplace. It was quite a job as the stonework is very uneven and they fit the mantel to the stone.  After the mantel was installed, we realized that a shadow was case below because of the overhead spots. Emeil's crew came up with a way to bring electricity into the mantel from the 2nd floor crawl space and install LED lights.
Another example of how responsive Emeil is was regarding the under cabinet lighting that was installed. The fixture was only about 1/12 inches high but it was enough that the light hung below the cabinet and was seen any time we sat at the table. We found alternative LED lights that were only 1/2" high that fit perfectly.  His crew removed the original lighting and installed the LED's which provide better lighting without the distraction of seeing the fixture.
We were so pleased with the result, we employed Kitchen and Bath to remodel the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms the following year.

Kitchen & Bath etc. is the most professional contracting, designing, building, finishing, remodeling group we have ever worked with.  We have owned two old homes over last 30 years with numerous little and big remodeling projects. Kitchen & Bath etc. provides an eye for design along with the common sense and practical knowledge of how to get it done with a budget and time table. Absolutely the best.

Overall, from start to finish it went great.   Any hiccups were minor and taken care of quickly and most satisfactorily. In fact, we often exchanged e-mails at night and on weekends to discuss project status, material choices  and any issues that may have cropped up.  Always came away with agreement and a plan.

Price was higher than other contractor's quote, but the end result was well worth it.  You get what you pay for.

the powder room looks great and the storage room is awesome. the storage room can be used as a den,bedroom,or playroom.
job was completed on time and the workmen were very professional. i've got some other home improvement projects and i'll
use them again.i've used them in the past with the same outstanding results.

It looks really good in the end. However, we did have quite a few problems with them. It seemed like they were over extending themselves and the project, we were estimated for a week and ended up taking almost ten. They actually never even came to collect the rest of their money because we were unhappy with how they did the floor and a couple of other things like the cabinets. They never responded back. So, we did have some problems with them. It just depended on who was working. Some of the contractors that came were really good and others were completely terrible.

They did the work for me on September 28. They moved their offices so I've got the car to find their new address and phone numbers. Their price were very reasonable. They're very professional, punctual and did a great job. I was pleased with them.

The project ran smoothly even with a few on the fly changes.
Took just under 3 months which was under the estimated time.
We lived in the home while the work was being done and found the work planned for
plastic sheeting to shield the rest of the house from dust. This was fairly effective but
it's amazing how dust migrates everywhere.
In hind sight, we should have moved out during the 1- 2 weeks of major tear-out.
When a power cable had to be relocated, we were made aware of possible solutions
and given time to review and comment.
The decorative tile for the back splash was discontinued. Again we explored options and
revisited tile centers to find a replacement. Several days were spent and the concern was helping us find
the right replacement. No pressure was ever applied to rush the decision.

It wasn't a firm quote because we haven't gotten to that point yet, but so far it's been great and I thought it was pretty reasonable. We haven't made our decision yet and we do have another gentleman that is going to be here in a couple of days to give us the same type of budgetary quote. It was a very good experience and we'll probably go with them because I think the other gentleman is going to come in fairly high.

Kitchen & Bath Etc has courteous good workers.

 I totally renovated my large laundry room, which included the addition of a full size oven.  I knew what I wanted in my laundry room, and I had different estimates, but what I especially liked about K & B was that Emeil  helped me "put it all together".  He is very talented in design.  It came out BEAUTIFULLY.  I love it.  Emeil was very easy to work with, very professional and prompt.  If he said he was going to get back to you by a certain time, he did.  If he scheduled work to be done at a particular time on a particular day, they showed up when scheduled.  The workers did quality work and were also very professional.  They were neat, clean and conscientious about keeping the rest of the house clean.  Nearing the end of the job, Email would either call or come to the house and ask "is there anything else that needs to be done"  to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction.  I can be very particular and that didn't bother him at all.  I would highly recommend using Kitchen & Bath, Etc.

They have done a very good job. I would definitely recommend them.

What stood out to me was they were not satisfied with just basic work. They wanted everything to be as if they were going to live in this house as well. We thought they were very attentive to details, not settling for something, they had a great design for our kitchen and that was something even he did not think of. They also did not think that anything was too big to tackle. They were not afraid to shy away from something. They were great. In terms of price and quality, they told us that they would be happy to install appliances, sinks, faucets, etc. If we could find it cheaper somewhere else, they asked us to go for it and they would install them. Given that there were some other companies that we had to buy from them to install it. We thought that was really a plus with them. We live not even two miles from their showroom so in terms of responsiveness, if it was a Saturday and we needed something, they could be here within five minutes, which was a benefit for us. However, regardless, when they said they were going to be here they were here. They were on time and were out of here on time. They took really good care of making sure of keeping their appointments. I would definitely use their services again in the future. If I had another kitchen in this house, I would have them start on it right away.

I saw Kitchen and Bath, Etc on a TV commercial then I looked them up online,  there website was very informative and there facebook page had many completed projects to look at.  I visited there showroom and was very impressed..  They explained there procedures and setup a free home consultation.   About a week later I heard from Emeil with the estimate and drawings, and we were suprised by the price it was a little higher then we thought, but it was worth it.
Next came the hard part,  we went back to the showroom to pick everything out for our master bath.  Emeil was great,  he is also a designer so it was very easy to relate to him what we wanted and for him to put it all together.  After we pick everything out we had to waited about 4 to 6  weeks to start when everything came in.  The workers who came to my house were very courteous
and respectful and neat.  There workmanship was better then I expected.  I would recommend Kitchen and Bath, Etc and I would  use them again.

The project did not go well, their measurements for the counter tops were to big and they had to shave off part of the wall to install them. They did fix the wall and repaint ? luckily we had left over paint ? but they did not clean up the paint mess outside and we had to call to request them to clean it up.

The sink that was originally going to be installed was not in stock so I picked one up from Home Depot. He had to be reminded to take the cost of the sink off of the bill.  

They installed new plumbing and a garbage disposal, the plumbing and the faucet have recently started to leak. Also not long after the install a seam has started to come up in the counter top. I won't be using their services again.

They had to come back twice to fix the same leaky sink. They sealed beautiful, expensive, tumbled marble tile on the floor and in my shower, without cleaning it first. It had a very dull, dusty look. They finally came back and stripped it, but then, unbelievably, someone else came and sealed it, without cleaning it first! After arguing with me, they came back and stripped it again (really toxic my house smelled for a week), under the condition that I would have to clean the tile myself and also seal it. The owner would not return my calls promptly and refused to drive 7 minutes to my house, to see the poor quality. I specifically requested that he come out to see it for himself and he said he'd have to send someone else. The new shower floor leaked from day one. It continually got worse, until I fixed it myself.

They were very helpful and showed us all of the alternatives.
