Guy and his team members are superb. Their company description is exactly what they do. We needed to have a 12x12 foot cement shed pad removed from a site with limitations of location and access. Contractors were not responding to our requests for service. Guy responded and clearly communicated the scope of the work. Lisa continued the good communication connection. The site required the work to be more manual than mechanical. The team assembled a 4-step process and maintained a smooth operation. The team members were friendly, courteous, skilled and hard-working. They were considerate of our driveway and landscaping, and the grounds were left very clean. They provided a level of service beyond expectations. The cost of the service was very fair. They deserve the Super Service award!

What a great experience we had with Guy and crew!!! Guy was on the job the whole time and made sure our driveway was done quickly and perfectly!!! From Lisa, who was in constant communication with us, to Guy, who is very knowledgeable and the crew, who even gave my daughter gifts for her birthday, we are beyond thrilled!!! Without a doubt, we would hire Gaetano again. They are first rate professionals who did the job the right way and we can't wait to enjoy the extra space we now have on our beautiful driveway!!!

I had a great experience working with Gaetano on a driveway extension. They were professional, knowledgeable, did excellent work, and really went the extra mile at every stage of the project. When I first contacted them, I was in a bind because a previous contractor had done shoddy work and then abandoned the job before finishing it. Gaetano was already fully booked, but Guy was sympathetic to my situation and, over several phone calls and visits, came up with a plan to get the job done right. I am extremely grateful that Guy took so much time to help me out, especially considering his plate was already full. Within two weeks of our first contact, Guy and his crew had managed to correct the prior contractor’s faulty work and complete the job. There was frequent communication from both Guy and Lisa during the whole process – either to check in, to ask questions, or to give me status updates. Everything about the job was transparent, from the comprehensively written proposal right down to their sharing the concrete ticket from their supplier. The work itself was expertly coordinated, with the excavation, base preparation, city inspection, and pouring all being done in a single day. Guy was conscientious about every aspect of the project. He arranged for the concrete grade to drain rainwater away properly. He lined up the contraction joints with those of the existing driveway. He made sure to comply with local regulations. He protected the concrete using quality sealant. He cleared the dirt piles left behind by the prior contractor. He came back after the job was complete to do a thorough cleanup. The finished driveway extension was exactly as I had hoped. I would 100% hire Guy again. If I could give more than five stars I would.

Fabulous! It took a while to schedule because we had to wait for adequate weather conditions, but Guy came at the first opportunity and did a great job. I'm so grateful that he did my job even though it was a much smaller job than he usually takes.

It was great. The crew arrived on time and excavated, formed, poured and finished the job in less than 4 hours. Also came back to cover the concrete when rain was threatening. The crew were courteous and cleaned up the job site thoroughly. Great experience! Definitely will use them again.

Gaetano was great to work with. This was a complex job as we needed to work around the heating elements for snow melting. Gus was knowledgeable, helpful and worked around my schedule. They kept me informed of schedule, and due to the complexity Gus made sure he was on site. I would definitely work with them again.

We have a large driveway and Guy explained the best way to attack this job, as if it was his own driveway. All his suggestions were spot on. Guy and his crew work extremely well together. They did a great job. Very responsive when I had questions and very knowledgeable. The driveway looks great. Price was in line with other estimates. Guy takes pride in his work and treats the job like he is working on his own house.

I was very happy with the results. As soon as the spring weather arrived, they contacted me to set up a time to complete the project. They left the area clean, and removed any debris. I appreciate that they would take care of this small job (3 ft x 10 ft). Very professional, I would recommend them for your concrete jobs.

Excellent communication. Due to summer's weather the project started later than planned, but contractors don't control the weather. One big plus is that the owner works with the crew. He quoted it and he was there to supervise and work.

Excellent company, excellent people, excellent work. From the first contact through job completion and follow-up, Guy and Lisa maintained constant and informative contact. The work was difficult and complicated, and had been declined by several contractors, but Gaetano took it on, and did an outstanding job. I could not be happier with their customer-forward attitude and expertise. The owner, Guy, was on-site throughout, and consulted me thoroughly when a few unexpected issues arose. He treated me with respect, and was clearly devoted to producing an excellent outcome, which he definitely did. I highly recommend Gaetano. In fact, if I had any other concrete work to do, I wouldn't even bother contacting anybody else. My experience was that good.

Guy was very courteous and friendly. Showed up when he said. Put the floor in and came back the next day just to clean up and make sure we were happy.

Guy came out and gave us an estimate. His was the best and then he and his team came out and did the work. We asked them to do a small job that wasn't part of the original estimate and he did that and didn't charge us, even though I told him I was willing to pay extra for it. They did the work efficiently and cleaned everything up with they were done.

From the first estimate to finishing the driveway, it was a pleasure to work with Gaetano Cement Contractors. I had several estimates and I was impressed that Guy not only gave me a reasonable price but also pointed out things that could potentially be an issue with the installation. No other contractor took the time to do this. Once we decided to work with them, the communication was excellent, I was informed a week ahead of time when they would start and warned if there would be potential delays. The whole project took three days. Guy kept me informed every day about what they were doing. His entire crew was very professional and clearly took pride in doing a great job. They kept the area clean and impressively preserved the adjacent lawn and landscaping while installing the driveway. The driveway not only looks fantastic but now actually drains properly. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs to do concrete work.

Guy and his crew were great to work with! They got the job done in good time and were very friendly and responsive. We encountered a snag when it turned out our driveway drain was a dummy and had no underground piping -- Guy did the digging and installed new plumbing and still kept the cost low. The driveway now looks great and my kids love playing basketball out there every afternoon!

Red carpet treatment from friendly, efficient staff. I was in a crunch as my contractor walked out on my job after ripping out the old drive. I had car trapped in the garage, and a muddy pit for a driveway. I had some neighbors who used Guy and they had nothing but rave reviews. Guy and Lisa really stepped up to take care of me. From first contact to poured cement was a week, and several thousand under what the guy who walked off wanted. The end result is a perfect slab of highly complimented concrete. Beautiful border treatment and pure white glistening cement make this a true eye catcher for my home too. I wanted the most reinforced slab I could get. Guy and I talked about the options and I went with double reinforcement - both mixed in fiber, and steel concrete wire.

I can't even begin to say how disappointed I am.  Guy did another job for me at my house before this one so I had a lot of trust in him as he replaced my driveway in Lakewood.  After digging up the old driveway and installing the drain, we secured permission from the Lakewood Building Department.   I asked him to see the framing BEFORE he laid the driveway.  We agreed to lay the driveway after a few days when I could be there to check it out.  I received a call on a Thursday morning at 7:30 am saying they were going to pour the driveway that morning when I was out of town.
I arrived late in the day after getting a text from Guy stating how good it looked.  I was horrified. It looked horrible.   Of 1,000 driveways that are a simple, clean straight line from the pad back to the garage, mine is not!  It doesn't even align with the pad to the street, it's almost 2 feet wide for the first 10 feet, then cuts back to the house. The driveway is 3 inches ABOVE the basement window sills, almost 6 inches above where the old driveway was so we somehow have to topsoil everything, the back pad has a crooked line from the garage to the back patio that doesn't line with ANYTHING (it's 3 inches away from any line) and they splashed cement all over the back brick walls (we couldn't clean it off).   
After it was poured, all of the next door neighbors told my tenants, "OMG, your owner is going to be so upset" because they also thought it was so bad. Even though it's just a driveway, my heart sinks every time I drive onto it.   How hard could installing a new driveway be?
I told Guy how disappointed I was and he said I should not pay him for most of it.  I told him that I didn't that was completely fair but would like a discount.   He said that instead he would finish my basement floor at no charge.  I regret not getting it in writing, but conveniently Guy doesn't remember committing any of this.  Prior to this incident, I thought Guy was a decent person with a true caring for customers; now I think differently.    if you use this contractor, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING, ASK FOR DRAWINGS, ETC, IN ADVANCE AND INSPECT EVERYTHING.  BUYER BEWARE!
