Frank La Rosa

I contacted Frank via word of mouth recommendation from my sister who had him fix her chimney. He and his cousin (who is the person my sister knows) came out as expected to review my chimney work and provide an estimate. This was July 28th. Both men brought their own ladders and climbed up on my roof to take a detailed look. So, Frank and his cousin measured, discussed, re-measured and gave me a quote, on the spot for raising the chimney 5-6 feet. After a few days, my husband and I called him back to let him know we want to go ahead with the job. We didn't mind if it didn't happen until cooler temps, in the fall. But they wanted to do it the following week! They had already been researching our brick and believed they found the best possible "match". We weren't too concerned about the matching, but it was his insistence that a good color and quality match be found (keep in mind, our original brick was about 30 yrs old!). Anyway, they wanted to come out Monday, with the scaffolding and everything they need and get the job done in one, maybe two days at most. So, we said sure! Anyway, they did come out on Monday - as discussed, with everything they needed and got the job all done in ONE day! He had brought along several helpers and were done and CLEANED up by 3pm! My son said earlier in the day while they worked there was red dust all over our sidewalk, etc., but when they were done, not a spec of any debris was anywhere! The sidewalk and driveway was hosed down and clean. They did leave us a few of the leftover bricks, which I'm glad to have. Plus, while they were up there, they also fixed loose and failing flashing (nailed and caulked) around the outside of the chimney, an area they didn't have to touch)! Bottomline, Frank really knows what he's doing and we are so happy with the outcome! It is not only functional, but it is beautiful workmanship, too! And we think the color is a fantastic match! We can't wait for cooler temps to try it out! We told Frank we are very happy and we think he does beautiful work! We are considering hiring him again in the spring for some flowerbed border edging work. Besides residential concrete and masonry work, he also does landscaping, small retaining walls, etc.
