Contemporary Concepts and Custom Tile Installation

We originally contacted some handymen / bathroom remodelers from Angie's list but they were all too expensive (in the range of $4500 for this exact same job). One of them, who was too busy to accept our job after he came and gave an estimate (because he landed a big job) , suggested we use his tile guy. Phil came, sounded knowledgeable and gave a very good estimate. I checked couple of references, one who was using him to remodel three bathrooms. We set up a date to start. He moved it by one day (after giving adequate notice) and started work around January 5th. The job took about three weeks. He was meticulous, very clean and thorough and did not nickel and dime. I paid him in three installments while the job was in progress. We had agreed on this payment schedule beforehand.
