Chagrin Lock & Key was established by me in 1982 and is an owner operated business. When you call, I make every effort to answer all calls personally and all work is performed by me. I adhere to the old fashoned business practice that the customer is actually my employer and that I work for YOU. My business has been based on this principle and I truly feel that it is the primary reason that I have had such a wonderful relationship with Angies List consumers.

Mr. Frank is polite and pleasant. After determining what the problem was, he quickly solved the problem. Lucky for me it was a problem with the strike plate and I did not need a new lock.

Excellent! Wiley was extremely pleasant and knowledgable. In addition to installing the locks, Wiley also gave me some 'tips' of the trade. Wiley was very clean, actually vacuuming the floor to remove metal shavings.

Wiley was great! He was prompt in coming out to see us and did exactly what he said he would do in making 4 consistent lock sets for our front door, garage and dead bolts. They work very well.

Wiley researched the car, tracked down blanks and key codes for a car from France that has not been made since 1975. Was able to make a key that would start the car without having to replace the ignition system.

He was very knowledgeable and professional with a very pleasant personality. He made me aware that some of my keys that are not originals should be tested since while they worked in the old lock that had some give to it, they may not work in the new

He’s fantastic. I’ve used him before and I’m very happy with him. They come out very quickly and I completely trust them to do the change out. I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work. The lock has held up fine since they did the work. Highly recommended!

He showed up fairly quickly even late on a Sunday night. He was very competent and managed to get us into our house without damaging anything. Though I still had to replace the locks because they were all broken from when a neighbor had helpfully attempted to pick the locks before I got home with the key...

He was fantastic. Wiley was willing to come out late on a Saturday afternoon. He arrived when he said he would, and on time. He called beforehand to let me know that he was on his way. I felt Wiley’s charges were most fair. He was very kind, cared about his business and his customers. I had him come back a second time to repair a lock that no one else seemed to be able to replace and because he was able to replace this lock, he saved me the cost of a new door. Good guy, good company.

We accidentally locked a closet-dressing room door in my home with the key inside the room. All of our clothes, shoes, etc. are in there. We tried many things to open the door , but could not. I called Wylie Frank of Chagrin Lock and Key Co., and he was at my home in one hour. He had other jobs and fit me in on his route. He was extremely efficient, professional, and courteous. He had the door open in no time and just charged me a service charge, nothing " extra " for coming out right away. I would use his company again and recommend him without hesitation.

Very good experience. I initially talked to Mr. Frank to explain the situation and set up an appointment. The work was quickly and professionally performed. My experience with Mr. Frank is that he is honest, fair, polite and professional. Came home late on a Sunday from a long weekend and found we were unable to get in our front door. Monday morning checked with Angie's list to find a local locksmith. Called at 8:30 and Mr. Wiley was here by 9:45. He completed the work and by 10:45 Door works better than it did before. Friendly, fast and reasonable.

Very satisfied with the quality of the work. Several of the locks were in bad shape, and the previous owner's keys didn't work. He was able to re-key them all, and provided me with several spare keys. Contractor also assisted with problem with a patio door latch at no extra charge.
