Burke Independent Contracting

We were having Ted Burke lay tile in both our full bath and half bath. We decided during the job, that we wanted also to have wanescot installed on the walls and he was vey accomodating to this request, helped us pick what type we wanted. We went to Lowe's and picked out what we liked and paid for it, and he picked up the materials for us, which was very nice, not having to worry about lugging supplies to our home. We also decided to replace several interior doors and some closet doors, and he also was very accomodating with this also. Again we paid for supplies and he went and picked it all up for us. He did a beautiful job on everything! The tile floors look magnificent. While he was laying the tile, my hubby saw a place around our heater vent that was off a little. We pointed it out to him and immediately he popped the tiles up, cut and fixed them, and replaced them with no complaints, no excuses, and it looks beautiful. We also had a problem with our shower cutain rod, which the studs under the wall were not even on both sides, so we had him pull the wall out and build a box inside the wall so there would be a stud to hang the curtain rod from, and he did beautifully on this as well. Oh, and we also asked him at the last minute to install some faucets we bought at Lowe's but had not had time to put in ourselves, and he happily did this, excellent job on them and they look beautiful. He's very up front about pricing, sticks to his estimates and contracts, is very professional (even brought extra shoes as not to track snow into my house!) and just a great general contractor all around! We are definitely having him do our living room remodel next year. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
