We first hired Brentwood Builders to design our in-law suite addition; a bedroom, bathroom, and great room with kitchenette. John, one of the owners of Brentwood Builders, came out several times during this design phase, to shows us the blueprints, ask if we had any changes, and get our approval. When the design was finalized we entered into a construction contract with Brentwood Builders, and met Doug, who was to be the project supervisor for our addition. Brentwood started in February 2013 with site prep. By March 2013, the foundation was in and the walls were going up. During this time, we were kept busy choosing our laminate flooring, bathroom tile, kitchenette and bathroom cabinets and countertops, light fixtures, and paint colors. Doug, the project supervisor, kept the crews on-time, on schedule, and busy all while keeping us informed of work progress. Any questions, problems, changes, or issues we had, Doug remedied them and kept the project on track. Several times, Doug came to us with a concern or to ask our opinion to ensure the addition looked how we wanted it to look. The biggest problem we experienced was with our new water heater, it kept having an intake airflow problem. Brentwood finally discovered the wrong unit was installed. Doug made the subcontractor replace it with the right unit without any impact to us, the schedule, or cost. By June 2013, Brentwood was finished with construction and we passed the final inspection. Brentwood Builders cleaned the entire addition on the inside and their landscaper repaired the yard to a like-new condition. A month after Brentwood Builders finished, we noticed several low spots in the yard from settling and a
problem with a closet. Brentwood workers came within a few days and fixed everything. Brentwood Builders and their subcontractors do quality work and listened to what we wanted in our addition, all foe an affordable price.

I have an English Tudor style home with a faux stucco and decorative wood trim through and one outside wall had some serious deterioration along the edge of the horizontal trim work, obviously from the collection of rain water.
I called Brentwood for an estimate and they came by the same week to take a look at the problem. After educating me on what the extent of the damage and what would be required to fix it (replacing the entire outside wall and trim) they took all the necessary measurements and promised to get back to me with a quote. As promised I got a quote within a week. I got busy and didn't respond until 6 weeks later, but they were more than accommodating and fit me into their schedule as soon as they could (about 4 weeks).
I was abolutely floored when I got a call from Brentwood at least every week until the work was finished updating me on any changes in schedule and making sure paint colors and other details were correct. I had recently used a roofing company for hail damage work and had to call them constantly to get updates.
After the work was done, I reviewed the work with them and was impressed with the thorough job they did, which included installing brown metal trim flashing along the upper edge of the trim board that had deteriorated. The final product looked great and I was confident I didn't have to worry about this happening again for a long, long time.
I even made a last minute request for them to fix a small panel on the other side of the house that was showing deterioration. While they didn't make any promises they said they would see what they could do with any leftover material. They ultimately patched the panel and charged me a reasonable price for the labor.
Brentwood isn't the cheapest builder/contractor around, but I'm convinced they are one of the best. I'm more than willing to pay a premium price to get it done right the first time and know I'm in good hands.

We could not have been more pleased! The Brentwood team worked efficiently to complete the remodel to our satisfaction. They were meticulous and careful, kept the surrounding areas clean, and were courteous and helpful throughout the project. There was no down-time during the four weeks of work. Project manager Doug Phillips and his crew were excellent in communicating the details of what would take place each day. We are also pleased to report that there were no surprises when we received the final bill! We feel that the remodel has made our home more enjoyable, and has certainly enhanced its value. We recommend Brentwood without hesitation. Their team personifies good character and good craftsmanship.

Minor work but well done. Thee was also some caulking needed redone, which they took care of quickly. They have always been reliable.

THEY REALLY WANTED TO DO THE JOB FOR US THAT WE WANTED DONE. WHEN THEY CAME OUT THEY GAVE SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT THEY COULD DO, BUT THEY DID IT THE WAY WE WANTED IT. THEY MADE THE ADDITION LOOK LIKE IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN PART OF THE HOUSE.

I AM PERFECTLY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING THEY DID. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY REPAIRS ON OUR HOME YET. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. THE MOVING PROCESS WAS A DIFFICULT TIME SO IT WAS NICE THAT EVERYTHING WAS DONE WITH THE HOUSE.
