BURCHFIELDS COMMERCIAL ROOF REPAIR

When I received the bill for $406.50 I was totally surprised because the amount of time they said the two employees were at my house was 3.5 hours. I believe it was more like 2 hours. And then to charge me $406.50 for blowing off some snow and caulking I was in shock. I called the owner Richard Burchfield and told him I was surprised at the bill and did not believe the hours quoted was correct. I told him how I was looking to find someone to rely on to help me with my flat roof and was very shocked with the amount he charged when virtually little work was done. He went on to explain the insurance that he needed to carry for employees in the roof repair industry. I told him that I understood but still felt the bill was unfair. He agreed to knock $150 off the bill which amounted to an hour and a half of labor time for two employees. This met my expectations for labor hours but I was disappointed I had to make a phone call in order to receive the correct bill.
