Quality Assured Roofing

I paid a $6,105 deposit to Bryan J. Bossard of "Qualilty Assured Roofing" on 8/13/2013. A signed contract specified the sole purpose was to buy custom roofing cut to lengths to fit the house. After over 2 months and > 20 prompting phone calls, he removed gutters from front of house causing flooding through the > 100 year old brick basement walls already having weak mortar. He refused to answer calls, delayed the job into the winter when no other contractor could complete it, continued leaks damaging interior oak floors & walls, and cost me many extra thousands of $ of lost rent or a sale having to leave vacant for many months. I hired an attorney for $500 which Bossard ignored. Finally, I prompted Delaware County Ohio into convicting him of felony theft in case # 14CR-I-04-0143. He plead guilty, possibly to avoid an additional charge of vandalism. In the sentencing hearing, I believe the prosecuting attorney stated he had a similar misdemeanor conviction elsewhere.

We gave him a check for $7894 for materials and we havent seen him since. This gentleman is a scam artist and please be aware of him.
