He came over and said the circuit board was bad and he changed the circuit board and when he was trying to install the board, I was watching, he went to push the circuit board into the channel and one plastic prong was missing and the circuit board shorted out the motor. So when he pushed it in he clipped this and shorted the motor out. He continued on but got very nervous and finished installing it. He closed everything up and left. After they left, the furnace of course started acting up again. I wanted to just replace the furnace in the first place but he talked me into replacing the circuit board. So he comes back out and agreed to change the blower motor and then agrees to get a brand new furnace. He brings one out and we agree to take it. He goes to install it and I’m watching again. When he pulls the old furnace out he tipped the furnace over and broke the pan. He said they would take care of it because it was in the middle of the winter. I had no choice but to agree to get heat in my house. He continued on and installed it and did a terrible job. I have had other contractors come in and tell me these different things he did wrong. He put the nuts to the wires right on top of the motor and this created a fire hazard. The fiberglass pan has melted right down to my furnace because of where he put it was right under the coils and there is no metal pan there because he initially broke it and of course didn’t replace it. Back in the beginning, he told me everything would be fine and that he would get the pan when it gets closer to needing the pan for when we turn the AC on. So I called him in April to come fix the AC pan that he broke. He quoted me for $150 for the pan and $150 for the labor for the pan that he broke. I told him he broke it and I didn’t agree. Instead of me letting him install this and pay for it, I called other contractors come to look at the job and see what it would cost. Every single one of them told me what he did wrong. He’s continually told me over the phone that they won’t refund the money. Last time I talked to him when they refused to pay for the pan or take the air conditioner out. I hung up on him and told him I would see him in court. The first time he was in my home he was cussing. I should have kicked him out then but I gave him the benefit of the doubt.
Description of Work: On 2/27/2012 I called and had appointment setup to have them repair my furnace. Tim Lee came over and looked at my furnace because we were having trouble with the furnace.
