Running Man

There was no damage whatsoever. He was considerate to our needs. A big 5 stars to David and his crew. I would highly recommend David to everyone!

Total overall experience was mediocre. He was 45 minutes late. Would not agree to even a $10 reduction in price for
arriving late. On several occasions had to point out trash that was overlooked and would not have been
removed without my bringing it to their attention. Instead of a company truck a rented U-Haul was used for the job.
Crew brought no gloves, bags or any other tools that I would consider routine for a professional hauler to use.
The job had an amateurish quality to it. I ended up assisting them in doing the job to expedite completion.
They did not even provide a receipt. I had to write up a receipt on a blank piece
of paper that was signed by head of crew. While 99% of trash was removed I would not hire this company again.

I found Running Man moving on Angie's list and phoned them. David answered the phone and was very kind and courteous.I asked him to give me an estimate for moving a living room suite that I found on Craig's list. He said he would go to the residence and call me with an estimate that day. About and hour later he phoned with the estimate of $325.00 and I told him let's schedule it. He asked me when and I asked if the next day would be too soon. He said fine. He would be at the residence at 11am. I asked him if he preferred cash or check and he said cash. I showed up the next day at the residence at 10:45am and David was there at 11:00am on the dot. He had a nice young man Nat that was helping him. They came into the house and assested the situation and assured me that the move would not be a problem. They were moving a leather couch, recliner and loveseat and two tables. I left the residence to go back to my house to wait for them. About a half hour later David called to say he was on his way. The truck pulled in and I showed David where I wanted my newly bought furniture. Both he and Nat wasted no time in bringing the pieces in my house in about 20 minutes. They placed every thing in my house to my specifications. Then I paid David in cash as he requested. He did not have a reciept, so I wrote one up and he signed it. Over all the experience was just fine. I would recommend this company and I would use them again.

David Slaughter insisted on visiting my sister-in-law's home to see what she needed moved before providing a quote. He was professional and agreeable during this visit. He quoted $245.00 to move her appliances and furniture stating it would only take one trip in the truck to move the small amount of items she had. My sister-in-law had moved everything but one item from the second floor to the first floor in hopes of speeding up the process of moving. The crew arrived over an hour past the time they quoted and did not phone to let us know. The crew handled the furniture and items in a careless manor shoving the refridgerator into the wall leaving chips of paint when the removal of the refridgerator door could have solved the problem. There was no understanding of organization in the packing of the truck leading to a second trip. Once the second trip was understood, Mr. Slaughter insisted on another $80.00 and specifically asked for a tip as well as for cash only. This was a very stressful experience for my sister-in-law and my family. We would not recommend this company.

David Slaughter and his crew were available immediately. They arrived promptly at the designated time and was ready to make the move happen. Couldn't be happier.

David Slaughter and his men did an excellent job moving all of my furniture out for a remodeling project. They were courteous, on time, and treated my things like their own. I will definitely use this company again!

I purchased some furniture from a consignment shop and a private seller and needed it delivered to my home. I called around and got several estimates. I called David around 9:15 p.m. and he took my call and I described what I needed done. He took my info. and said he would return my call shortly. About 15 minutes later he called me and gave me his estimate. It was slightly higher than the other estimates I received and I was honest with him and told him so. He came down $40.00 and was only $10.00 more than the cheapest estimate I got. I decided to go with David because he is bonded and insured and the people I received the other estimates from were not. He also has an enclosed truck, furniture dolly, and moving blankets. He told me that he could fit me in the next day according to my schedule!! He and his associate, Demarius, followed me to two different locations and picked up my furniture and brought it to my home and carried it inside. They were very careful, accomodating and pleasant the entire time. I am planning to use Running Man again in the future to help me move some things at my home. Great personality and service!! Hope their business continues to grow!!

They were excellent. They were very hard working. They were clean in their uniform. They helped in clearing my mother’s home and made it a very comfortable process. They met the deadline and finished the work. I rate them high overall.

Contacted the owner David Slaughter the day before regarding our last minute decision to take advantage of an opportunity to clear out the house and move items to an auction site the next day. Being able to do so allowed us to make the house available to the new buyer earlier than planned. David was at the house within the hour to discuss the job and provide a cost estimate with details of availability. David's quick response to provide an estimate won the job over a competitor who did not appear to understand an estimate was required regardless of availability. David and his assistant, Moses, arrived on time to the very early scheduled minute of 6:00 am Sunday morning. Both were nicely groomed and professionally dressed and David had a copy of his current worker's comp certificate as requested. The company truck with logo was very clean. David's engaging personality put everyone at ease that the move could be completed before a second mover was to arrive to load up remaining contents for transfer to Columbus, Ohio. David and Moses took direction well regarding which contents were to be loaded. They began work immediately and stayed on task without break until the 3-hour job (two truck loads to the auction house) was completed. Both handled items with great respect not to damage them or the house even while working at a very quick speed. David was extremely conscious of the time and checked with us several times to note that they could get everything loaded on time...and they did again to the minute of the scheduled arrival of the next moving team. This accomplished even with an extremely challenging task of bringing up a heavy freezer chest from the basement which required time to remove hand rails from the stairs. An incredible, impressive display of hard work, positive attitude and customer service!!! I can't thank David and Moses enough. Their efforts and upbeat personalities actually made fun what had been a very difficult and sometimes emotional weekend of clearing out our elderly mother's and our childhood home. I wish this company all the best and great success.
