Mellett Animal Hospital

Did a good job on my kitties and treated them well. Took my puppy in for a small lump on his neck and they did not charge me. Everyone is very kind. We had Dr. Hickman as our vet.

Their very friendly and their go out of their ways to help you in anyway they can.

The dog that we had seem to take to the vet real quickly, there is about three veterinarian there that we used and they all have a way of calming down the dog, it's very nice how they treat you and treat the dog as a patient not has an animal.

I had had my 5 pet's teeth and vaccinations done there before. I wanted to get them done again.  I had just had their vaccinations done at Pet Supplies Plus the vet their found them in excellent health.  I went to Mellett Animal Hospital to make an appointment for 5 pet cleanings.  I told them that they had been checked and vaccinated already.  They said. We still want to check them out before we do the teeth cleaning". I thought it was one appointment to look them over.  The last time the vet ther took 5 minutes with them.  I missed the appointment. They sent a bill to me for $200.  I called them. They had put me in for 5 one half hour appointments.  2 1/2 hours. They said they called me to notify me of impending appointment.  I checked my phone records. No such call to me was made.  I told them that the bill was excessive.  They told me I shouldn't have so many pets.  Like I said, I take care of my pets. They were just at the Pet Supplies Plus.  They would not take the other vets documentation.  Very frustrated.

I like Dr. Hickman. He really understands cats and knows how to approach them. He treats each cat as an individual. All (3) of my cats like him. He is very knowledgeable about cats.Their prices are very reasonable and are up to date on all of the latest equipment. For example, my last veterinarian had out of date equipment and higher prices.
